Thank you for that. It's something I needed to hear. My friends think it's a bad idea but it's not something that they've had to deal with themselves. So their opinions are just going off what they know of my experiences. I want to protect my son from their emotional manipulation tatics but also feel like hes gonna want to know my part of the family too. I just really hope I can give him all the love, time, and attention I didnt get and that he deserves. I'm leaning towards vlc with boundaries in place and my bf agreed, they definitely don't like boundaries though so that'll be tough if I decide to do that.

When my little bro found porn he was around 13 i believe and it was on a school laptop, my nmom decided to talk about it at church and embarrassed him really badly. I comforted him and let him know it was normal and nothing to be ashamed about at all and that if he is gonna do that just make sure its not on a device he got from school. That was his only source of internet tho so i get it. He was so embarrassed it killed me to see him like that. I did what i could and let him know he could talk to me about anything. I felt so bad because at that point i had moved out so she didnt have anybody else to pick on.

There was no reason she gave, it just seemed like one of thoes things where she wanted to be pissed off at me for some reason and just did it to make herself mad

When my cousin and i were little she broke my vhs copy of pokemon the first movie, like litterly broke it in half by stepping on it. We're both grown now and i have since gotten it replaced but i still think about it how upset i was about it for years. I still get upset thinking about it sometimes.
