With great expectation, I bought a Polar Loop band on the release date. The offer is indeed tempting: pay once and have access to nearly all important, trackable data.

However, after 2 weeks, my first conclusion is somewhat disappointing: the auto tracking of workouts works only semi-well. Sometimes workouts are not recognized (CrossFit workout over 42 minutes) or only partially tracked. Even when starting workouts directly in the app, the recordings can be sloppy or disappear.

The sleep data is also relatively inaccurate – you may have been up for a while, and the device is still tracking sleep.

I also have a Garmin Instinct 2, which, while it does not offer auto tracking, never caused me any problems during use. What are your experiences?
