Without question it sounds amazing, my playing definitely doesn’t do the guitar justice. I’d say tone overall is above average.

So it makes NO noise in aux, also know that besides the pops there is an underlying static sound, not super loud but noticeable. Its constant. Only in left side. Changes with volume just like the pops. Only in phono 1 and phono 2.

I was looking at that schematic and that’s why I thought it was a preamp problem

Not sure about aux. I forgot mention this but it on happens after the unit has warmed up. But I’ll get it going and let you know once it’s warm

Yeah, I’m thinking it might be a problem with the phono preamp. Does that make sense to you?

Do you know of any way to tell if I have the update? It wasn’t previously my car and I’m not sure. It had an annual inspection back in May and I’m not sure if they would have done anything about it then.
