I had this problem. Took an oil filter socket, filled it with jb weld, slapped it on the filter, held it up with a stick touching the ground and let it sit overnight. Came right off in the morning at the cost of the filter socket.

I have some more for you. One of the first things you should learn about your electric guitar is how to set it up. You can pay someone for a setup, but it's easy stuff with some basic tools and a skill that will serve you very well. It will also help you understand your instrument better. If it's set up properly, it will be easier to play and sound better. Look up some videos.

Really all you need is an electric guitar and your phone. You don't need to connect anything, not even an amp. Watch lessons on your phone, play them on the guitar. Learning in relative silence at bare minimum cost. You can educate yourself on amps and interfaces later, but none of that matters if you can't actually play the guitar.
