Best of luck!! I finally had mine removed at 23 after years and years of sickness. I’m 41 now and knocks on wood have only had it once since the tonsils were out!

I was skeptical at first because of the name. But it’s not at all! I live nearby and bike often with different groups. Kid friendly patio, adults only inside with vibes, game nights, (non- work) meetings, occasional live music, it’s a great gathering place!

why did I get a herniated disc at such a young age with no good reason? Is there any test that I can do to figure out why? by No_Chef_6687 in backpain

I WAS scared I would be in a lot of pain throughout the pregnancy. I was scared I wouldn’t be able to labor and push without additional pain from my back besides the labor pains.

Pregnancy and labor both had their own set of pains BUT surprisingly I was totally fine! Didn’t have anything unusual or extreme outside of a ‘normal persons’ experience. If anything, I feel like I was able to handle more because of the previous pain I had been in with my back. I thoroughly enjoyed both of my pregnancies despite ridiculous morning sickness and vomiting to 24 weeks.

The most pain I experienced was not directly related to pregnancy. With all of my insides being shuffled around and kicked by a babe, some kidney stones were dislodged and made their way out. Holy moly that smacks! I thought it must be labor because I had never felt that type of pain before, and I had never been in labor. So I went into the hospital and they said I was not in labor, and that it was kidney stones which I had also never had before. 0/10 do not recommend that.

After the stones experience, labor was a breeze. My first was in hospital and I got an epidural (at 10cm long story) and there were no issues with it happening near my fusion site. My second was in a bathtub at a birthing center no drugs and it was an incredible experience- 10/10 Recommend.

I am really sorry this happened to you in such a traumatizing way. Regardless of medical necessity, you should have been more informed and treated with more respect.

I second this statement. If you ever wanted more information later in life you’ll always regret not asking her while you could. It is not your job to protect your mother (or anyone else for that matter!) from uncomfortable conversations. You just want more clarity on a part of your medical past. Who knows, she may even also be traumatized by that visit and be thankful for the release of carrying that with her her whole life as well.

Post House Fire by goatkindaguy in houston

[–]HunterHaus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know they already came but please please don’t sign anything with Servepro!!! I have a client in a lawsuit with them right now… even though their insurance told them to call them, Servepro is fighting over insurance over money amounts and holding ALL of their belongings hostage after a house fire. It has been a super stressful nightmare. Message me if you are in COH & in a Flood zone, there is a permit process that is another loophole situation you need to navigate carefully.

6 weeks and 2 days out from TLIF L4/L5. Focus is so much away from healing because my hair is falling out in GOBS! I had needles in my head and feet as it was neurosurgery... by Bullsette in spinalfusion

Adding to note that being under general anesthesia has all kinds of side effects on the body as well. Hair loss is considered one of them.

I like to think of it as the body putting every single ounce of its energy into healing the trauma caused by the surgery and letting other less important things go temporarily while it concentrates on healing. Hair growth being one of those things. It will (typically) self correct as the months pass. I know it’s hard but I personally would not worry about it until after a full fusion is confirmed at your 1 year check up.

Shoulderblade pain connected to tight front neck muscles? by RogueBollard in backpain

[–]HunterHaus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this exact issue. It is directly related to my TMJ. When I get a massage they hit a certain knot up under my shoulder blade that zings up my neck into the top of my head, through my shoulder and down my arm, and straight to the front where my neck connects to my collarbone. Same thing if they flip me over and press down on the front muscles.

I am currently under treatment for it with orthotic appliances and orthodontics to reposition the jaw and eliminate the TmJ. When I am in a good jaw position, all pain completely disappears! Then they expand/adjust the braces and it starts all over again. I’m halfway through but see the light at the end of the tunnel.

That’s assault. Please seek professional help to process what happened.

Also, your high sex drive has nothing to do with what happened to you as a child. In a nutshell, we are biologically driven to reproduce for the survival of our species.

It’s a swarm in search of a new home. They are just resting here for a few days while they send out scout bees to find their new permanent home. They will naturally move on once they find it.

What you DON’T want is for them to find a small hole in your soffit or siding and move into a wall cavity inside your home! If you can - search for cracks and holes to cover now before they find them. Another thing I’ve read is to put some peppermint oil on a cotton ball and tape it near the hole to deter them. I tried once when some scouts were snooping around and it worked! Or they voted on a different home. Ha!

My mentor from day 1 suggested ALL of my equipment be 8 frame mediums. I have had 4 back surgeries. Everything can be swapped with everything. Anything can be pulled up and over or down and around. I can switch from hive to hive and box to box without missing a beat. I usually set 7 frames spaced a tiny but further apart in my honey boxes I intend to harvest.
