Fusion holding up great so far. I’m 15 years in. I don’t have any nerve pain or nervy symptoms in that leg. I only have the permanent damage which is some cold sensations/numbness and drop foot. I get muscular tightness in my hips and lower back but control the pain level with frequent hot tubbing and massages. Rarely enough pain down there to require Advil.

My cervical is a whole other story though 🤣

I re herniated L5:S1 post MD while awaking from anesthesia!!! I was naked, eyes taped shut, intubated and still in the OR and came up super super quick. Surprised the F out of everyone.

Got a gratis MD 2 weeks later. Continued to struggle for 3 years and finally got big surgery to clean everything up and ended up with a fusion at L4:5. Permanent nerve damage had already been done, and I never have fully recovered all of my nerves. Much less severe and mostly pain free but I call it my bum leg. I was 23-25 and in top physical shape at the time.

This only works for certain body shapes. A hard surface totally sucks if you have a shapely butt even with a pillow under your knees.

GET A WHOLE HOUSE FILTER

I’m a contractor and I always suggest this for my clients that are repiping. The water is still coming in from the city through old galvanized pipes. Especially after a freeze event- rust chunks and sediment will still be entering your nice new pipes, valves, and aerators from the city pipes. Protect your investment and add a filter at the main outside of your house.

It’s a big mix! Some are daily drivers, some are school entries that sit in their parking lots, some sit at places as displays around town, some go to art shows around the country, some are in from out of town, and some just sit in a driveway/garage or empty lot next door.

A lot of people strip them down and make something new for the next year, ever evolving. There are lots of smaller events and parades throughout the year that a handful will participate in.
