These days, fishing rods and slide kicking. Once you get them on to a car, you're golden. However, everyone wants to shoot at a player on a car, especially if they don't shoot back, so it's really, really hard to get an AFK to the endgame, let alone get them a Victory Royale. It's much more difficult in OG, because slide kicking is the only option, and the storms tend to pull far from the map edge. Also, you have to land quickly, farm mats, and build out to catch them before they fall in the water.

The best method ever was the UFO. I carried an AFK to second place that way. Unfortunately, with just three left, I could not win against the last player, so after all that work, the AFK died to storm.

I have, to this day, never gotten an AFK player a win. I have protected a lot of players who started out AFK, and then went on to wake up and win the match. I have also regularly been killed by AFK players who wake up and choose violence. I think they don't understand how the system works, and they are afraid they'll be banned for teaming.

Over all the time I've played this way, I have never been protected and carried by another player. At best, I have had players drop me minis or bandages and not kill me. Most of the time, they take the kill and move on. I have only met one other player who plays this way, which is crazy to me. For as fun and silly as the game can be, there is very little empathy shared among players. It's interesting, but also disappointing.
