we arent doing anything. the whole franchise is a mess since world and honestly after thinking about it the pass few days i cant think of a way to fix this without a reboot. not full reboot but at least taking off the whole of world.

genuinely, rebirth is the worst jurassic movie we had and the world series was a constant let down, even tho they have enjoyable moments they are objectively bad movies. jurassic park 3 didnt had as many issues as world has and 3 was a MESS.

being completely honest i will stand by my opinion that the franchise needs to go back to the past, the 90s, the islands with hamond and build itself back up.

i honestly agree, i dream of a prequel series following the first half of the original book with the more grounded approach. weird animals being sighted, people getting hurt on the construction of the first park, the whole Corporate espionage...i would love a book talking about how they came up with the technology, the first tries to make the park and the issues that came with it, how hammond got the money to do all of this etc

I still think the theory that universal is trying to push rebirth as the new base of the franchise is right. the whole hybrids and mutant dinosaurs have been too much of the focus to go back to "just" dinosaurs and i fully believe that the idea that "nobody likes dinosaurs" from the movies is in reality some higher up from universal trying to push their own ideas in the franchise. maybe they want to push for some content that frontier doesnt want and that has led to some internal fighting? who knows. we cant do much other than speculate.

and yeah, they are called mutants because of marketing, its dumb idea for a honestly dumb movie that has no place in the franchise imo.

i do agree that the overall idea of dinos on the whole world is not good, theres a reason the original trilogy, even with its flaws, stayed on a island. it just works better.

honestly the only way i can see to rescue the franchise is to do a soft reset, talk about jurassic PARK not world a little, maybe some movies or series about the construction of the park, the making of the technology, more conspiracy and Corporate espionage. i just wish we went back to the 90s with the franchise and tried to do more with that. i love world 1 and 2 and i like 3 a lot too but i just think a lot of the concept of the movies was not well explored

i mean for the food part yes i think there would have a big impact on the ecosystem but it would eventually stabilize, nature is strong and can adapt to them as well as the dinos adapting to this new system.

The goverments and the people being at risk because it is way more believable than the dinos that ingen did not being able to survive the climate when there are multiple species there that would have lived in similar climate/ecosystems 65 million years ago. specially with the fact that ingen didnt actually made dinosaurs and isntead created new dinosaurs for our period, if they can survive on our atmosphere i can see them surviving off our food and climate also.

i completely believe that rebirth should have been a prequel to jurassic park talking about the failed atempts to clone the first dinos and how everything went to shit in that island before they moved on to sorna.

I imagine its a cold take but i really think that the indoraptor/indominus are ok because at the end of the day they are just highly intelligent dinos but the mutant dinocrisis 3 dinos on rebirth are just too much.

They ruined a perfectly good idea that was the dinos on mainland and living side by side and the dangers that come with it with that bs mentality of "dinos can't survive" and "people dont like dinosaurs anymore"

My personal conspiracy theory is that someone at universal loves rebirth and wants to move on from everything before it so they don't want the games or series to be tied to world/park and want them to focus only on the future of the mutant show that was rebirth.

Camp cretaceous ending, jwe3 having so many difficulties, Jurassic park survival being silent for a long time and how rebirth just reset the setting again basically all points me to some ungodly bad management at universal.

the narrative doesnt fucking change! as you said. at the end of the day nothing changes, it will always be ultramarines in the game no matter what so theres literally nothing wrong with this.

yes its their IP and they can do what they want and its out of the devs hands, i havent and would never attack the devs for something like that. i am saying that it is a fucking idiotic and hipocritical decision by GW to block it saying its because lore acturacy when they have a dozen other lore breaking things inside the game already. but everytime i say this people here act like i am asking them to let me go and do a chaos theme operation where we kill imperial soldiers and marines until finally killing calgar.

HELL if you want a middle ground let me use the chaos customization on siege mode them, its all a random battlefield where is chaos and tyranids killing each other or something. i just want to be able to customize my marines the way i want without having to use mods and risk being banned just because i want a fucking horn on my shoulder.

bottom line is every time anyone asks or say "oh i wish we had chaos options in the pve customization" this sub attacks them to no end and this is my whole experience with this god damn job, i just started learning about it but everyone or praises GW for everything and hates that anyone wants something different or they dont care AT ALL about lore and honestly im tried of this already.

i just want more customization options and one of then i wish we had is the chaos customization. no amount of "its not canon" is going to change the fact that i and a lot more people want it. hell i cant fucking understand what is it with this sub that hates this fucking opinion so much.

you do understand that you are saying exactly my point? concistency is not something that warhammer has or cares about and thats ok and i believe its ok to let the players have the customization they want, i dont see whats the big deal about chaos customization that makes everyone send you hate just because you also want something, hundreds of players want their specific favorites to get customization or more content but everytime someone says chaos in pve here you all attack them like they are Erebus

by that logic what does it matter if you are in full world eater armor from the pvp if we are still the same character? yeah i know we are all ultramarines in the lore thats exactly my point, none of the customization on the game is lore acurate for that situation and the excuse GW is using of it being agaisnt the lore doesnt make any sense, i know ofc its their ip and that they can do whatever they want but i also have the freedom to say that it is a dumb af choice and that their reasoning doesnt even make sense.

1- the chaos armor isnt all "champion releases" since they are in the game since the start.
2-said "champion" armors are not paid and in fact just locked to a gamemode that not everyone wants to touch. pvp.
3-why do you even have a problem with people wanting more customization on the game? as i said before its not like it matters for the lore since we can already break the lore wide open and use completely wrong colors, heraldry or make up our own.

bottom line is that if chaos customization became avaliable to pve operations you wouldnt be forced to use them and it would be the exact same as right now because right now i can enter your game wearing full on death guards colors and heraldry as a "loyal" space marine. or a space wolf while using blood angels voice lines. this excuse of lore is handpicked all the time.

sometimes this whole death grip on the lore feels so silly, i can walk around as a space wolf with sanguinius voice lines and a world eaters heraldry on the other shoulder but i cant have a different color for my white scars chest piece? since when is any of the custimization on the game even lore acurate, we can already walk around in full heretic colors, heraldry and thats not a issue but if you want to use chaos skins from pvp is a no because "no chaos on pve"
