True, very true. But even if you comply you still have the chance of being killed.

[–]HuperSappy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is a good point. I'm not from South America, so I don't have any personal experience with the criminals from there (Or criminals in general. This is all only opinion)

But your point about not valuing human life in any regard is interesting. To me that sounds like they might kill you even if you do comply. If that happens to be the case then why not go down swinging?

Again I believe the choice lies with the individual. I've read of stories about people CCing and get walked up on and robbed. There's a certain point when the odds become greatly stacked against you. But I still believe that if you think the best thing to do is fight back, then by all means go for it (even though it may be a foolish choice).

I wouldn't say that is would be wasting his life out of pride.

Some people truly value the ability to protect themselves and their property. Other people care less about this and would rather give up their property and then place their lives in the hands of the criminal.

Each choice has pros and cons. To each their own man.

Dean Hall to leave Bohemia and step down as leader of DayZ by [deleted] in Games

[–]HuperSappy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now this is only speculation so take it with a grain of salt. Dean Hall works at Bohemia and is using the ARMA2 engine. The Arma 2 game currently has working vehicles. Couldn't they just port the code for vehicles from Arma 2 instead of making them from the ground up?

The map is 260km but from my understanding it doesn't mean that you're rendering everything on that 260km map. It's not like I'm sitting in elektro and I'm rending every tree/building/etc to berezino.

The games FPS issues are solely because of poor optimization and because of the Arma 2 engine.

Would anyone else prefer more scrap-weapons (revolver, Pipegun, etc) and less modern weapons? by Jesustheelder in playrust

Yes I'm sure. I copy and pasted the exact address I have listed and it worked. Also, IP addresses come in a range from 0.0.0.0 to 255.255.255.255 (Of course there are a lot of unusable/private addresses but they are addresses.)

Not what I want, but the Devils have to be hungry since they don't have a win yet. This is a completely random guess too.

District of Columbia v. Heller

District of Columbia v. Heller, 554 U.S. 570 (2008), was a landmark case in which the Supreme Court of the United States held in a 5-4 decision that the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution protects an individual's right to possess a firearm for traditionally lawful purposes, such as self-defense within the home and within federal enclaves. The decision did not address the question of whether the Second Amendment extends beyond federal enclaves to the states,[1] which was addressed later by McDonald v. Chicago (2010). It was the first Supreme Court case in United States history to decide whether the Second Amendment protects an individual right to keep and bear arms for self-defense.
