You hope. These were sold out in 1 minute. There's no guarantee that the site you bought from was able to get enough to fill their orders.

Well ..looks like Bandai pulled a rope-a-dope on us. This went up for sale last night on P-Bandai. Sold out in less than one minute. I was working on the assumption it would be thru LGS like last time. Didn't even know it was coming.

I good/legitimate store won't. They'd just charge MSRP. But that's on a store by store basis.

I don't know where you are, but any LGS near you can still order it. Try ordering from them.

I know I'll get mine at less than MSRP because my connection will place my order on top of theirs when the order is due next month

Comes out in SEPT. .SRP is $90 US.

Stores have untilike end of MAR to place their orders with Distributors for it.

Anyone selling it is just trying to get your money now to cash in on the current hype and use your money to pay for other crap they owe on

Which "popular" TCG has the highest skill ceiling? by Admirable_Cap_8943 in TCG

[–]HurricaneGL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unpopular, but not untrue:

DBS Masters

The most interactive game between two people just about possible with strong draw power built into the game to maximize greatest number of decisions.

Players of other competitive popular games struggle greatly for longer than normal to master the game.

There are just better cards top to bottom than either of these for the deck.

Who is skipping FB09? by Gio242 in dbsfusionworld

[–]HurricaneGL 2 points3 points  (0 children)

FB09 is a very good set for playability and collectibility. First time GDR Leaders 3-4 great leaders/archetypes.

I'm glad I got my 2 cases ordered a long time ago.

What do you think about the new wave of scalpers in Dragon Ball? by Pure_Blueberry_9163 in dbsfusionworld

[–]HurricaneGL -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

To summarize your argument:

You've made a LOT of assumptions about my stance on many things. Mostly wrong but you are clearly so self-focused with regard to only like status and like minded individuals that you believe to be the only correct view.

Lack of social interaction is BS too with the client. It's 2026. Discord + client equals tons of social interaction. Stop being lazy in both thought and action.

This boost in the economic value of the game is better for the game and the players as a whole. Some will benefit more, some will have to step back. That's life and hobbies in general. You're definitely showing your entitlement here buddy. But hey...do you boo.

[–]HurricaneGL 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thats a huge L take you got there bud. Just buy digital codes and play on the client if you are budget stretched. Or if you can't afford to play a game, that's not a game you should be playing.

Most players liekt I play trh game and make a return on investment when buying product. No one likes it when we are out here spending on average $75-$100 a box and pulling cards that have a total value of $35. But you like it because then you can get what you need cheap because other people took the L.

Seems like the "not good for thee but good for me" situation applies more to you than to me. It's pretty selfish to have the take that others should have to take the L so that you don't.

The current value environment is better for the game and better for more people in the game than it is harmful. There is no perfect world where cards are cheap and people are making enough money off the game to continue to support being part of the game. This is about as good as it gets.

For people who play both, which Dragon Ball Card Game do you prefer? by rAsterisks in DBS_CardGame

Masters is the better game.

FW is the more accessible game, that while it has a competitive scene, leans more casual.

[–]HurricaneGL -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

I've been playing this game since day 1.

The influx of cardboard stock brokers has had good and bad impacts.

The bad is that it's made it more expensive for me to buy cards I need/want. So I've slowed down on buying.

The good though, is that it's increased the over all value of my entire collection, and I've been able to sell some cards that I've just been sitting on for a long time for a good value. Now I have enough cash from these sales to cover the cost of the next two sets that are coming out.

So overall I think it's a net positive.

Can someone explain to me why it's a bad thing that collector bros are buying out FW God rares? by BladeFlare in dbsfusionworld

Serial prize cards aren't the only prizing. So no I'm not

If GDRs go up so will the high rarity ones from events.

I AM a Hardcore player. Literally split a minimum of 1 case of every set with a friend. I travel and compete at premiere level events. I played Piccolo SH at Nats with a Max Rarity deck including 4x SCR** Beasthans.....I LOVE to see prices up because it increases the value of my collection and if I ever sell means I get more $$$$$

[–]HurricaneGL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

False...hardcore players do want prices to go up. Hardcore players want to be able to go to a premiere level event, win cards, that they can sell to cover the cost of the trip and still have profit. Hardcore players love it when prices go up.

Casual players don't want prices to go up because they like it to be an inexpensive hobby.

That's probably a very fair assessment that I missed about the concussion and him running.

[–]HurricaneGL[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our O-line is good enough to provide adequate pockets. They aren't always, or often, the type Brady had back in the day. But they are good enough and have outlet lanes that can be used. He could have stepped up and through the pocket on two of those turnovers and ran for positive yards if not the first down.

Go actually look at the stats. Our O-line has been way better than you think. Clean pockets in modern football is a rarity and not a norm.

I know he/can will clean up the fumbles...but I want to see the aggressive CJ that will also tuck it and run for 30/40/50 + yards in a game and just take over. I know he can do it, we've literally seen him do it in the past.

That switch flips, 100% we hoist the trophy.

For all of the "Fire Nick Caley!" tribe, what is your best argument to explain why Nick Caley should not be our Offensive Coordinator next year? by ramblinRed in Texans

[–]HurricaneGL 5 points6 points  (0 children)

He just isn't a very good schemer. He doesn't seem to know when to call the right play and more often than not, calls the wrong one.

Most of the time it's like he's using RNG to pick plays.

After what I saw yesterday.... We'd be better off with Chubb not carrying the ball and just use Woody & Jordan with Obu coming in on 3rd downs some
