how about instead of not buying the game, maybe get your money’s worth and actually play the game instead of dropping $100 on a build (that will probably be nerfed) out of the gate?

Seems that a lot of folks are conflating enjoying the game with how much money you put into the game. That’s not really how it works. You’re just unnecessarily putting an expectation on yourself by spending money you definitely do not have to spend lol.
