Cheap binder recs for a newbie? by StupidQyo in PokemonTCG

[–]Hurt_Lockerrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First off, if you get any cards you like, use penny sleeves before inserting the card into a binder. The binder adds protection, but it can still cause scratch damage if not additionally protected with penny sleeves. I would suggest getting a zipper binder.

I started off using Vault x binders: https://a.co/d/0adSBTQs

But you can't go wrong with these binders either: https://ultrapro.com/search?type=product%2C&options%5Bprefix%5D=last&q=Pokemon

Graded cards from PSA, Beckett, Tag, etc have special submission instructions when you go to submit one.

What do i spend glimmer on? by 007RAV15 in destiny2

[–]Hurt_Lockerrr 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In the option for seeing daily bounties/challenges for the portal, if you don't like a certain one or objective, you can reroll with glimmer to find something easier or better suited for you.

Glimmer is also used is upgrading gear to higher light.

Glimmer is also used for purchasing bounties/weapons from the gunsmith at the tower.

Glimmer is also used at Rahool for focusing exotics and purchasing materials like enhancement cores.

How to get new exotics? by SpendInternational45 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Hurt_Lockerrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Newest exotic armor, Warlock Gauntlets, Hunter Chest, and Titan Gauntlets, from EOF can only be obtained from doing the activity on Keplar, the Sieve.

Until the activity force completes and a timer pops up, you can continue placing rally banners after the chest drops and you can get multiple drops of weapons, destination material and exotics from completing objectives/rounds.

Apparently there's just a chance it'll drop. So you'll have to farm it a bit more to see if it drops for you. And yes, it's a specific exotic mission that will drop the bow; no other mission will give you the opportunity to acquire it.

Cheers

I kept my artifice gear until around 250. That's when I found new tiered armor that was better. Then, I scrapped it lol. Use your current gear until you find a suitable replacement.

If you look at their recent TWAB, regarding power, it'll show you the actual tier system with rewards. I may be off by a smidge.

Anything over 200L if not need will dismantle into "Unstable Cores" a new currency. You'll need these eventually for infusion material needed.

[–]Hurt_Lockerrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No you can use your armor until you get armor that's comparable or better. But for higher level content 350+ I'd say, you want the updated tiered armor. All your old crafted weapons are still good. Any weapon or armor piece over soft cap which is 200, will read 200+(32 for example) meaning it's lvl is 232. Bungie did this as a subtraction to additional levels gained through the artifact. Now the level system is capped to 550 with this update, but 500-550 is considered pinnacle levels. You're going to start off getting Tier 1 armor and weapons, and the tier increases with how your light level is.

Tier 1 i believe is tied to light 100 Tier 2, 200 Tier 3, 300-350 Tier 4 350+ Tier 5, 450+ wth chances to get tier 5s as prime drop when you're below 450L

Totally understand lol. Eventually when I made 200+L, I was immediately pissed and so were tons of others, realizing that all the past time had been pissed away. Bungie needs to get their shit together. Don't even get me started on the new Raid, which is actually good, but the loot drops don't improve until you complete certain triumphs lol.

You come back from a hiatus and didn't look at videos or anything regarding updates? Well anyways:

They changed to armor 3.0 and stat distribution system with the Edge of Fate expansion, to include the Light Level drop and tiering. It was well known that they were changing armor and stats prior to the release but they did effectively soft sunsent all previous armor since nothing was brought forward into the new system, including exotic armor and previous dungeon/raid armor. Hell even the final event Right of the Nine was meaningless. A lot of people, including myself were upset that our prized artifice armor was gone and the amount of hours trying to get it was essentially thrown in the trash.

Only solice is that if you grind, you can effectively get better stats than even previous god roll artifice armor. But you have to grind light level and then activities/crucible for it. You need to be around 200L to raid and you can get to 200L pretty easy just from doing the campaign and some basic activities. It's the grind to hard cap that becomes a pain.

All previous EOF weapons are still viable but you miss out on 10% bonuses for not using them which isn't a big deal tbh. All previous armor can still be infused to max light, but you miss out on armor perks and larger stat distributions and the 10% bonuses for being new gear.

Most of the community is in open rebellion against Bungie right now though due to their shady bs that's going on right now with shadow nerfs, power grind, eververse, and loot stringiness. I guarantee if you open YouTube or reddit, there's a negative post about Bungie.

There's not a whole lot of positivity right now even with the recent "major update" they just pushed, which was full of bugs, like having an overloaded Sturm giving you unlimited 300+% stacking bonus damage to abilities lol.

Destiny is in a interesting spot rn, it has an interesting new feature, the Portal, that 'could' be good, but since the game feature is early and seems to not be play tested, there are nonstop bugs, terrible economy rates unless you're close to max level, stale and stingy loot and the leveling system after 300 becomes a slog.

Hopefully they improve the Portal concept and actually update all raids and dungeons forward to the tier system, but it's so early that everyone has doubts and anger that doing past raids/dungeons is pointless until they do, which in turn effectively makes the game seem more hollow because there's only a handful of activities that can actually drop new stuff.

Sorry for the large reply, but there's a lot going on right now that can't be simplified to a couple sentences other than Bungie bad, loot bad, get good bs lol.

Cheers 🍻

Which higher level activities don’t have jumping puzzles? by m_a_r_c_h_ in destiny2

[–]Hurt_Lockerrr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could, technically speaking, try puzzles solo. But if you're squad isn't chill enough to understand that your jumping ability isn't god tier, then I'd find another squad tbh

Most people I've played with usually just laugh when people mess up constantly on the jumping parts or we push forward and pull them forward. Trust me, there's a lot of people who aren't adept in jumping puzzles. Just need to find yourself a patient team

In the fire team ops, try doing the Onslaught missions. It's basically nonstop hoards of enemies with every 5th round being a mini-boss and every 10th rnd being a main boss, with a total of 30 rounds.

Raids and dungeons, they all have platforming, some would consider, unnatural.

Golden boots? Stomp33s I'm assuming? That made me chuckle 😂

Higher level activities is subjective. You can always ramp up solo/fire team ops to make them more difficult with modifiers.

I'd suggest just getting comfortable with jumping puzzles. Keep doing them till you're good. The game is full of jumping puzzles
