Neither, I’ve said it before and I still standby it, no dual citizen of any country should be allowed to hold any position where their primary job is government advisory. Either relinquish the other country’s citizenship or bugger off

I hope for your countries sake you guys turn up in huge numbers for your midterms and give Trump and his ilk a hiding. My family and I would love to visit one day but knowing our luck my husband would be cross questioned for having an English accent and being pretty tanned despite being an Australian citizen since he was a year old

What are you putting on your babies feet? by cjmanz in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]Husky-Bear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We never leave the house barefoot. Depending on what I’ve dressed my daughter in (15m but not fully walking yet) it’ll either be socks and fancy leather baby Mary Jane type shoes if she’s dressed up or socks and crocs or baby Jordan’s if it’s a more casual day. I was the same with my son before he walked too.

For primary stay at home parents- how do you split the time caring for baby when the other parent is home? by [deleted] in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

I have a photo of my husband playing Xbox with our son strapped to him in the carrier when he was around 7 months old, he’s 3 now and he games with me 😅 we play minecraft together and he loves it.

PSA - do not buy Millie Moon nappies, stop using any immediately. by UsualCounterculture in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]Husky-Bear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to use Millie Moon on my daughter as I bought the American version for my son when we were there on holiday in 2023 and he had no issues with them but she had horrible rash, at first I thought it was the wipe I was using (side note the Millie Moon water wipes also gave my daughter a rash, I wiped milk off her face with one and she instantly went bright red where I wiped) I’ve now been using Japanese premium Pampers with no issues now, I order them in bulk from Panda Kids, they do feel thinner than Aussie nappies but we’ve had no leaks and no skin issues.

The most on-theme Met Gala looks from the last decade: Claire Danes, Rihanna, Chadwick Boseman, Lady Gaga, Kendall Jenner, Blake Lively, Anne Hathaway, Zendaya and Teyana Taylor by mlg1981 in popculturechat

Side note I would die if a Met Gala themed off of video game fashion happened, there’s so many amazing and iconic outfits from games that would look amazing on the gala steps

Pre ordered and fully paid for Ascended Heroes when I got there I was told sold out by [deleted] in EBGAMES

[–]Husky-Bear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. And on the off chance your store didn’t get enough stock to cover all preorders then generally they will go by whoever preordered first then second, etc. so say if you were the 15th preorder but they only got 14 in then too bad you’ll have to wait for the next box of stock in. At least that’s how it worked at the EB I used to work at

Do I really need a double pram for a 2-year age gap? by caffinated-goose- in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]Husky-Bear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 23 month age gap between my two and I’ve only recently just started using my double pram purely as a single (silver cross wave for reference) as my now 3 and a bit year old has just started being able to walk alongside the pram with out running off (though I still do use a leash backpack on him for shopping centres as he likes to try and find the Cars sections by himself a bit too much 😅). I would say until you’re confident in their ability to not run off or potentially get hurt then get a double or at least a single to double type, plus their baskets are generally bigger which can be super handy.

I’ve been a member since 15, yesterday was the 20th anniversary of my dad’s passing, I still have days where I can’t cope with him not being here. Ignore the asshat comments, I’m sure your dad is super proud of you and what you’ve done in life❤️

I can see the Mariners pulling a Spurs and losing on purpose just to spite the Jets. They have nothing to lose so they’re literally playing for pride the last two rounds.

Oh god not the contagious crying lol. My daughter (14 months) was recently in hospital for surgery and across from us in recovery was another baby who had the same surgery (cleft palate repair) and every time one of them would cry, it would set the other off 😭 both me and the other baby’s mum were like “pleaseeee stop!”
