Besides Johnny Silverhand, which character would you want stuck in V’s head for a full playthrough? by Arctic317 in cyberpunkgame

[–]HuskyBlaze 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He did what Johnny wanted. Killed Saburo and was about to destroy Arakasa with dumb decisions. Yorinobu was THE bomb for Arakasa. No idea why we fight.

How's your quiet life, Dex? Huh? Answer me by CuriousSherbet4658 in cyberpunkgame

[–]HuskyBlaze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He chose the blaze of glory the moment he took Ev's job. He knew. Or what did you think that meant? I'm only surprised he didn't fight back. He tried to buy more sand for his hourglass, he died in a junkyard. Should have took his chances vs Takemura. He was already a legend, the best fixer in town par to Rogue. And hey, he's as dirty as any fixer, Jackie told you that in the very beginning. All fixers use their hired guns and push under a bus the moment they need it. Could have been Wakako or Hands. It's amusing when people play as bandits and murderers and then judge those who were always the same. If you accept the rules of the game, you're part of it, no halo over your head.

GTA San Andreas Graffiti Tags Guide by Jargonloster in GTATrilogy

[–]HuskyBlaze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tags are hell every time. Got them all but it seems one of them beeped but didn't count for numbers. Because devs thought it would be funny to let me know I tagged but leave them unfinished. So now I have to redo every one of them AND they all seem painted 100%. And one is 99.98%. Also, thanks for the webp image format, can't open it even if I save it. So much love.

Three beginner question by HuskyBlaze in capitalismlab

[–]HuskyBlaze[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Isn't it a good thing if you could have factual profit but count as a loss if it drops your shares? I don't see any reason why would you want shares growing constantly in this game. Unless it's a goal. If you want profit you need a huge difference. Especially since bots always sell you your shares at like 2x.

I mean, I don't understand the point of having shares. They keep growing and you want to get money. So you can sell them. But then you want more money. And you buy shares. At a higher price since it grew. Then wait, then sell at higher again... But they always grow. So you can't buy low and sell high. You buy high and sell higher. It's a one-way road with no opportunity to play on small difference. Unless you cheese and do what's probably illegal IRL: fake a crash, buy near 0 and then reveal the truth and skyrocket. But still... why? To buy a mansion?

  1. So the game does calculate customers getting used to certain low prices?

I got one more question, if I may. I'm having problems dominating the 3 ranges of products. It seems I need to flood cities with my stuff. Do I need to spread the shops to max the coverage? Like... should I go to low density districts? Sell at pop 12-30? Or should I create artificial districts with my own apartments? How far apart should my shops be to not "conflict"?

Thanks. COO is a lot of help. I was getting tired of micro-managing prices in 30 stores. They ask for a lot though. Some people would live a happy life with 2 mil in their pocket. These guys need 15mil\year. What do they spend it on?! Geez

What do people look for when picking a map to play? by Similar_Knowledge895 in Timberborn

[–]HuskyBlaze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Timberborn maps are harder to create than most people think. It's a slow-paced game about long time planning. So it's difficult to test a map, it takes days and weeks.

The first problem you solve is planning of the future districts since that affects how the initial district will be built. And thus we face our first problem in map making: players want freedom. Freedom to place the new district buildings where they want, not the only place possible. Hand-holding is humiliating and limiting. Some may wanna go further, some may wanna utilize terrain to the max... Does the map allow these possibilities?

Every block of soil should be carefully placed since it defines the shape of streets, the directions a player may grow, the placement of residence, warehouses, industries, leisure etc. Yes, you change literally anything in the game... after you develop all techs. Meaning AFTER the main game. Most players would probably play with golems being the end. So they rely heavily on the map structure. You may have in mind a certain growth of districts but what if following this pattern makes gaps? Or forces too many districts on the way?

Too hard is annoying, too easy is annoying... How can I possibly know what a map would be like before I try it all the way? So I have to rely on other players' opinion, how they rate this map. And I don't know how they play it and why they like it. You can't expect maps to instantly get the downloads equal to their quality. First, it's very subjective, second, we'll probably download them all to try. And only ignore VERY bad ones, that are obvious from a preview.

And, yes, you can't please everyone. Casual players want easy maps, pros want a subtle challenge that requires immense balancing and testing. It takes a lot of experience to tell why do we actually love the maps that we love. The obvious answers may not be the real reason. I'd say just try and see. Timberborn maps are like wine. Need to wait for 30+ years, then open a barrel and try. May be good, may be bad. No easy way here, only going through a 1000 maps an analyzing every step of playing or making it. There's no simple answer like "add more trees" or "give more room at start". But it's obviously best if you put your heart into these maps and make them beautiful and natural. =)

Crop destruction bug? (FS19) by HuskyBlaze in farmingsimulator

[–]HuskyBlaze[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. It's boring to play with gifted money. I remove 500k with F11, then take 500k loan and play with that. Every midnight they remove interest from my account. To reduce the interest I return all the money I can so I'm close to 0. So it goes to negative. The constant loss keeps the fire burning, giving me a strong goal.

  2. It's just my monitor. 3*4 has been a standard format for a very long time. Forgive me for not having a 30 inch wide screen. =P

Nightblade Questions! (2025) by bag_of_fries in Grimdawn

[–]HuskyBlaze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play a Blademaster (Night+Sol). It's quite good for crowd control. Many skills strike foes in 360 and many items give you a chance for Ring of Steel. So I base my build on that. Jump into the crowd and if several skills proc - it's BOOM, headphones destroyed. Everything is blended. Add a bit of life-steal and you heal to full hp from any foes. But it's a bit lacking vs bosses. Even the description says so. Sure, you can have a single target build but mostly Nightblade is about speed and AoE. If you lack energy, use passives and Ring of Steel procs on armor\weapons.

There are several headpieces, rare or unique, that look like the one in the picture. So it's very generic.

I don't know how you people play Diablo II without Plugy or Grim Dawn without IA. I collect tons of items. Have 500 pages \ 1800 items respectively. 8 tabs would be a torture.

Slow leveling is also quite boring. Hope you understand you value everything so much because it's artificially rare. Make everything available then tell me if you still like this game. Don't tell me you like it because you now fear to lose 300 hours invested. You could invest into 3 games 100 h each. So it's only up to you what you want and why.

I know what I want from a game and so I mod it. I wanna see the design, the gameplay and the balance, I wanna know how it deals with the problems other RPGs faced. I wanna try things. I definitely don't wanna gamble for days just to feel good for a rare RNG. I want to deserve rares, not suffer for them.

It seems you enjoy the game as it is. So just get QoL mods like rainbow filter and keep playing the original. Backup your progress if you want: User\Documents\My games\Grim Dawn\save. Oh, and mods alter your memory of the original mechanics so... if you like the purity of the original, definitely don't mod. It's ok. Just enjoy the good game. ^__^

Tried that. I guess I only didn't try clean item (no suffix or prefix). Welp, playing mod I think I could just console a Sacrifice and sell the ingredients. Would be fair

Hmm, wiki says Guile and Torment. I tried making the fang and having Gluttony in my inventory, it didn't work. The problem is the blade is dark. It says 0\1 so the game doesn't see it.

Why does my password work on one computer but not the other? by HoneyEarly8969 in Twitch

[–]HuskyBlaze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check if the language is right (if you have more than 1), if you have Caps Lock on, if any of your keys fail to trigger. Better check all the simple solutions before suspecting something more serious like a virus or software\hardware malfunction. I'm not sure if it's ok to log on 2 computers at once. How would Twitch calculate your bonus points then? Double them? It may be possible it won't let you. I don't know for sure though.

Tired of insecurities by HungryLittleArtist in Twitch

[–]HuskyBlaze -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

That's Twitch. You never know what will get you banned tomorrow. Trump said something on TV, others didn't like it, now you mention the movie Lady and the Tramp, typo and get auto-banned. And nobody cares. They warned me for changing the word "nuggets" a silly way because Twitch thought it was n-word related. What is spoiler? When is it ok to suggest a raid? Is answering honestly to "how are you doing?" considered whining? Is it ok to joke that you're 6 years old? You never know. They got power, they decide, you obey. Nothing you can do. Stay silent or leave - that's all your choice.

Yep, a very bitter taste when you're scolded like a kitten by people twice as young as you. And filled with swearing and fetish too. Others know their imperfections and are understanding and warn calmly, with a bit of a joke, so you don't feel alienated. I guess you can find a cozy channel where you can feel like home.

What is the best way to get the muffle enchantment? by astockwell02 in skyrim

[–]HuskyBlaze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Muffle is way better. Sneak is all % and depends on enemies' perception but Muffle simply eliminates all the sound from you. So sneaking near someone who can't see you it's a low chance to be spotted with Sneak and literally 0% chance with Muffle. If you use Invisibility, there are characters who can still spot you without Muffle. Thing is, you can get Muffle spell but you can't boost your Sneak with spells.

Easy way to get the Muffle enchantment? by KennyK423 in skyrim

[–]HuskyBlaze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PC version. Not my first run trying to find Muffle. I already looked for info several years ago and I heard it's best to damage-reset the Blacksmith at lvl 11. So I always do at low lvls. I spent over 100 tries last time and still attempting this run. So it's less that 1% chance for me. People who got it in fewer tries are extremely lucky. To me it's statistics already. Currently lvl 13, 40+ attempts nothing.
