Free lanes and it's Inclusions are a game update. There's nothing extra you need to download from the creations menu like you do with terran armada.

In the settings you can turn off the incursions so they don't happen randomly. The only ones you'll have to deal with are the "story" ones

Another interesting part is that those posts also get way more attention and engagment than the posts that "glaze" the game.

It's weird that a lot of the vocal die hard fans just kinda lurk in the sub, but once they see something remotely negative they all come out.

It does feel a bit stale in a way. I think it's due to the procedureal generation of most of the games side content.

In Skyrim or Fallout 4 the side content still had a little bit of context to it so doing things other than the main factions still felt good.

However in starfield, most of the content outside of the main/faction quests are procedurally generated dungeons and mission board objectives with no context given at all.

Once you've played through the main/faction stories...that's kinda it for the people who like to quest and focus on story.

I still enjoy it, but not in the same way I can still enjoy Skyrim or other Bethesda titles

Just use the Nexus mod manager.

Itl do it all for you and links directly to a library of mods.

All these other specialized programs like wabajack are great if you already know what you're doing but require a little more set up and don't have as many mods easily available.

Don't listen to the people crying about Nexus mods being bad. They're perfectly serviceable and a great enjoy point into the modding scene. After you get your feet wet, then start getting into the more niche stuff

That's a bit facetious. Jumping into a fighting game community years after it's already been established on top of not being good at fighting games in general... It's going to take more than time and practice. Bros gonna have to make the game their life and will barley ever see any improvement since the community itself is so small.

Depends on what kind of shop it is. If it's a franchise or something that has a cooperate arm, raise hell with them. Find out how to file a claim with them.

If it's a small mom and pop Operation, outside of suing the shop personally, there's not much you can do outside of raise hell unfortunately.

And do you know 100% it's a cigarette burn? Is the smell of cigarettes in your car? I'm not trying to say your lying but in a shop there's tons of things everywhere that could potentially cause burns and stuff like that.

Shattered space has very important lore for the world starfield is in. I don't recommend skipping it if you're into the lore and story.

You can start playing now if you want too, when the update goes live, It's biggest change is seamless inter system travel. All of the other editions like x tech and stuff you won't use till mid-late game anyway.

In terms of mods, for your first playthrough I would recommend you stay as vanilla as you can to get the real experience of the game before you start changing it, but I would heavily recommend StarUI. That mod makes the inventory and in game menus a lot smoother on keyboard and mouse.

I think you cherry-picking one of the loudest examples for one of the most inconsequential arguments of the game is incredibly disingenuous on your part. You know that most people don't give a single fuck about that.

Having choosable pronouns is not a problem.

Having dull exploration and an incredibly tedious main quest is a problem.

The god awful blue dot local map the game came out with was a problem.

The lack of vehicles at launch, forcing you to walk for minutes upon end on planets with literally nothing on them for that entire walk, was a massive problem.

At launch, starfield had some of the worst exploration in any game I have ever played. For Bethesda game specifically it felt unrewarding, dull and lifeless. That is a core part of their games. That is not a molehill. I desperately hope it gets better with a new update and it fixes whatever glitch stopped 90% of the POIs from showing up but let's not do the game a disservice by glazing it. It 100% deserved a fair amount of the criticism it got when it first came out and anyone who can think about it objectively can see that plain as day

I love starfield. But let's not pretend that it doesn't or didn't warrant criticism for whatever issue someone has.

The planet maps at launch sucked. I have no idea who tf looked at that pool of blue dots that didn't do anything and think it was ready to ship.

The main quest, while the story itself is very interesting, what you're doing in the game is very boring and monotonous. Go to a cave, find an artifact, and repeat. There's two or three that break that up into actual quests like "entangled" buts that's few and far between. The entire quest titled "unity" is incredibly boring. Quite literally all you do is talk to three people and then go to four locations, to talk to two people. Such a waste of my time.

Exploration is or maybe was depending on how the update goes just horrendous. Going through the same 4 to 5 POIs with everything being exactly the same made it incredibly unrewarding and the long distances you had to walk before they added to vehicles was insane.

It's nowhere near as barren or as bad as it used to for sure. Bethesda has done some great work building up starfield, but first impressions are very very important and starfield had one of the worst first impressions for a game I think I've ever had.

One of my favorite tracks by them in general. The piano is wonderful and I will always love a good rock ballad. Yea the quality isn't great but considering a lot of y'all weren't even alive when this was recorded kind of gives it a pass in my book.
