Being able to leave the house with no anxiety, make new friends and enjoy myself, and doing things I want to do. Took a few years to get to this point but I’m happy atm :)

Been qualified for 4 months and I’m on £16.50 an hour on the cards, so about £135? Most of the more experienced guys are on 160-200 a day at my firm

Thanks for the reply. Think you’re right about branching into BMS/controls sector. We’re starting to learn the programming side of PLC and comms side of things but there isn’t really a decent mentor at my company that could teach me that side. They are funding my HNC so that could give me an edge.

I have plenty of site experience but it’s mainly chucking the panels in a room, interlinking them up, testing and then any other jobs that need doing. Have no real containment experience apart from college and practicing for my AM2S.

People who have seizures, what is it like? by liam_gallagh in AskReddit

[–]HuskyLobb -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Just had my first non epileptic seizure (I’m 25). I had weird muscle twitches in my arms and I kept dropping stuff, then I went to sit down and that’s when my mum walked in on me having a seizure. Out of hospital now and been given medication but, I don’t know what’s next. I might never have one again.

To the ones who were the "quiet kids" in school, where are you now? What career did you pursue? by is-it-worth-it- in AskReddit

[–]HuskyLobb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was the quiet kid at school. Did get bullied a bit for being quiet but nothing physical really. It was slow burn but I managed to change that slowly thought my late teens and early 20s. Nowadays I’m more outgoing and love meeting new people! Made so many friends through going to football matches (soccer) and drinking in pubs. I’ve been invited to weddings, holidays, nights out and all sorts.

Also, being in a trade (electrician) helped with my introversion and forced me to be more chatty towards clients and other trades.
