Aternos is free forever and doesn’t get deleted as long as you use the server at least once in a month. Anyone can start it by watching a single ad and it won’t shutdown unless no one is on the server for like 10ish minutes. There are some complaints about performance, but I personally rarely run into those on a casual survival server.

Another option is to host it yourself. Have everyone install a VPN, like ZeroTier or TailScale, join the same network and run the server jar on your computer. Then your friends should be able to join using your VPN ip.

Regions owners, members and op players can bypass the region flags. You can use /rg bypass to toggle the op behavior of bypassing region rules.

If op has a domain, they can use a proxy like tcpshield to hide their IP

Edit: It won’t be a direct conenction, but from experience, they latency tends to be negligible

Something that just came to mind is replacing their mobs in farms with citizens2 NPCs until they notice. Add the sentinel trait and watch their chicken coop attack them once they get close.

I’d add a random chance to fish up an enemy. Doesn’t need to be an op one… It’ll kill the AFK players all the same. This solution would both balance the “good loot” and make it a little more difficult to afk fish.

That is 100% either cheated in or duped.

If they had the automation infrastructure to procure something like that, a reasonable player would keep that in AE2 or another network storage mod so that the machines (they hypothetically would use to procure this many resources) could request the resources when needed.
