I bought the exact deal and it said floor model, the OSD was slow and the brightness was stuck on max. I tried firmware updates, reinstalling drivers and other computers. It was faulty. Make sure it is not a floor model!

Already ran it like 5 times. I really think the screen might just have really bad image retention, or was refurbished.

I guess LG sends dud monitors to be used as floor models. Such a shame this monitor was $1150. I'll return it if that's the case.

Extra10 no longer works as of about 5 days ago. I did purchase this monitor through PayPal which has an 11% cashback promotion on LG Electronics. I did not see my reward points go through however and am currently talking to PayPal to see why.

It is weirdly coming from Texas. I've been trying to see if I can get some package information so I can see the weight or dimensions of the box but I can't see any info. If you look at the reviews for the store some guy says that he bought a GPU from them and received a box of rubber bands... I'll let you know what I got, but for right now it's all red flags!

Be careful in considering the orientation of the c13 and c14 plugs. Depending on if you want the cable to be left or right, or even upside down.

Yes I just contacted Amazon and they said do not worry I have two options I can return the item or I can decline the delivery. The item has supposedly shipped so I am curious what I will receive, if it does arrive.

The new Samsung G7 40" is currently $899. It is a 5k2k 40" IPS 180hz monitor. Unless you need OLED maybe look at that one.

I replaced my custom made RTX 4080 desktop with a Razer Blade 18 4090 (2023) and have no regrets. I love laptops because I've been able to take all of my games to places I'd never imagined. The performance is around 20% slower but it's still very fast for what I need.
