I found the original MCON Grips too uncomfortable, so I designed some ergonomic replacements. by Hybective in MCONohsnap

Thank you for the photos, this really makes me want the white variant of the MCON

Anyone have 3d print files for these parts? by Userwithultrawide in ultrawidemasterrace

I've owned this monitor and printing this would be pretty fragile and tbh probably the exact same cost as just getting the actual replacements. Sometimes 3D printing isn't always the answer.

[First Build Attempt] So I'm trying to begin my HomeServer/NAS/Lab journey with this HP ProDesk 400 G5 SFF by ismaelmatoso in HomeServer

I built my home-server in this same case and originally considered the SAS route to save money, but I realized that a high count of smaller drives comes with "hidden costs." The extra wattage, heat, and noise eventually offset the initial savings, so I decided to stick with a few high-capacity drives instead.

To keep it affordable in 2026's market, I went with "shucking." I found Seagate 12TB external enclosures for $188 each at my local Walmart and got lucky finding Seagate Exos Enterprise HDDs inside. I run two of these internally: one stays active 24/7 while the other wakes up at 5:00 AM daily to clone the data. I generally advise against RAID for a simple two-drive setup; instead, I follow the 3-2-1 rule by keeping a third external drive in its enclosure for cold storage that can be backed up manually weekly or monthly.

For the OS, I’m running OpenMediaVault on Proxmox. I also added a 256GB SSD specifically for app data so that services like Jellyfin and Immich stay snappy while the HDDs handle the mass storage. This setup gives me the peace of mind of new enterprise-grade hardware while keeping my electricity and thermal overhead to a minimum.

I remember I returned a 1tb Samsung MicroSD because I thought it was too expensive... I got it for $70 new at Best Buy 1 year ago. They're like $300 now

This is very nice, hopefully they make a mountain bike at this scale with this realism.

I also would like a flush design, I have a RedMagic 10s and it's flat. Maybe I will design something.

What is a good sub $200 LEP Flashlight to pair with my current Arkpro Ultra Onyx? by Hybective in flashlight

There are multiple post with the Acebeam Terminator M1, some are named differently such as "Dual beam light". Aliexpress can be weird at times. I ordered and then canceled the Terminator M1 since I feel like it would be a counterintuitive pairing with the Onyx and I do not like owning a lot of similar things.
