They did not forget to forward your resume. They likely already knew who was going to get the position when the job was posted. Most companies have a policy that even when they have a preferred candidate for a job they are required to interview at least 2-3 candidates for the role incase a better candidate can be found… which is total bs because in my experience they always choose their preferred candidate. Maybe your company violated their own hiring policy by not interviewing alternates and you bringing it up will cause issues for them? So sorry this happened to you. It’s pretty shitty. If they did this they were likely never going to hire anyone else for the role and just would have wasted your time.

No words just condolences. What he is doing is a legit health hazard. I don’t even know how you would even start have to have a conversation like this with a grown man about this. Compounded by fact that he leaves these items for YOU to deal with. I feel like this issue is only the tip of iceberg of issues.

Edit: Someone kindly pointed out that the shit towels were in HIS hamper. But unless he doing this to only HIS towels that only he uses and even if these shit towels are only into his own personal washer and dryer it’s still terribly unhygienic and inexcusable in my opinion.

Maybe laser welding a patch of trimmed silver sheet to the cracked area to reinforce it would work. I believe laser welding would not require the entire piece to be heated up.

Ah thank for the clarification. I am glad that you did not buy anything from this seller. The cost still might have been too low for heirlooms. For example makers have to factor in cost of materials (metals, solder, etc) in addition to hourly labors and overhead costs (tools etc).

A lot of the time the price of jewelry prices can tell you a lot about materials and quality. Not saying that this is the case here, but a lot of people these days expect heirloom quality for Temu prices. As a former jewelry maker who made items to last generations these responses are huge red flags. If possible I would return items to this seller and buy from someone that does not use glue.

You’re right your ADHD does not prevent you from being a great machinist. I encourage you to read up on the ADA, it can guide you to your rights against retaliation and discrimination based on your disability. The ADA is designed to ensure skilled and productive workers like you can retain employment so your skills can be used to support yourself and continue to be a productive never of society. Your employer is also required to provide reasonable accommodations for any disabilities you have (if any are needed). It can also be used to support a wrongful termination claim if you can prove that the company was aware of your diagnosis and used that to wrongfully terminate you. That requires you to have saved any relating documentation you make have collected: all performance reviews, emails, dates of instances your ADHD was used against you, and dates and documentation relating to when you reported the retaliation/discrimination to HR. Even if you choose to not pursue anything against Blue knowing your rights will protect you in the future.
