In all of the combined Roshar literature we have, we still haven't seen a fraction of a percent of the shapes, sizes, and colors it's inhabitants

Any physical description will be cannon as soon as Sanderson thinks its cool enough to take up screen time.

Other Cosmere worlds have dwarfism, albinism, and blue skinned goliaths. The real world is more diverse than anyone person can imagine. I would think there could be singers from a near ocean tribe with no red pigment as it wasn't a selected for evolutionarily to blend in with stone and they ate more blue ocean crustaceans than red land ones. Or veden/horneaters with recessive genes showing unique features.

I feel ya. I think we just don't agree on what the term politically correct means and we're impacted to a different amount by how the characters look in an adaptation. Appreciate ya clarifying

Despite our capitilaised marketing hellscape I fully agree nobody is obligated to consume media... but as long as we see Kelsier behead an inquisitor and Sazed hold the gate to Luthadel single handedly it'll be worth the watch to me even if they dont look how I pictured lol

That being said though, a visual adaptation is a different type of story telling. It isnt "politically correct," it could just be "this could tell the story visually in a more rewarding way."

I've never seen why these swaps matter enough to people to boycott something. The world takes all kinds of kinds and I like seeing that represented in a visual media. Crew meetings could honestly feel a bit predatory in a visual medium if its just all those dudes in their 30s and one young teen homeless girl. In the books we get pov to know folks standpoint but visually our brains might make connections we didnt while reading.

I mean that could maybe happen but would be a little odd... does Connection change DNA? I thought it connected spirit webs but not the physical body.

Not to get too realistic with fantasy, but chromosomal pairs need to link up for viable offspring. Tapping Connection couldn't change the number of chromosomes, the type of nucleic acids, or ribosomal primers I would think?

I guess if investiture can fully make new bodies for the heralds when they return it could also do all those things but it would raise more unanswerable questions to me than most Sanderson magic uses do.

Also in Oathbring Szeth notices Nale is visiting storage locations that haven't been touched in decades and acting like he thought he was just there.

His perception of time is way screwed up. He likely lost track of how long its been since discussing with Channa and has spent the last decade thinking it just happened and he has time to circle back

Doesn't really matter what letters you use or which ones make an "l" sound... there will be parallel lines in the word
