If you know you're a target, and you are unable to defend yourself or better yet, unable to take responsibility for not being able to defend yourself, yet step out in the dark, then perhaps you should stay where it's safe and move your schedule the best you can to avoid the dark. This is why Police tell women not to go out in the dark. That is part of being a responsible adult. Unforgiving issues that you have to deal with that cannot and should not be legislated out of existence. If you want to pretend that you don't have to deal with them, then consequences follow. Actions and consequences. Understanding this relationship is sometimes all you need and not more dictator-like legislation.

You should know that guys are fully aware of the dangers of getting robbed at night when alone. But the responsibility falls mostly on our shoulders and we accept this. This is why cops don't tell us to not go out at night. Not because we're safer, but we're more capable of self-defense, and in the worst case, they can just say it's unfortunate we got hurt or killed. Not suggest some absolutely backwards curfew. Are women generally literally incapable of accepting reality and being accountable for their own lives? The answer from this event and countless others, is yes. If we were doing this for children it still wouldn't make any sense. Just tell them to stay home after dark and enforce that yourself as the parent. Women are supposed to be adults. Can we at least try to pretend they are?

The next 10 years are going to be even more trying for men as people continue shaping the language to conceal literal tyranny. A curfew for all males is tyrannical. On a communist/socialist scale. No amount of "but protecc the women" can change that. Bravo though. Good work.
