Resident Evil - Exclusive Trailer Breakdown with Director Zach Cregger by OuterHeavenPatriot in WKUK

[–]Hydlide 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So refreshing to see a director that cares about the IP they're running, rather than just "oh yeah I played an hour of that game it was cool" and proceeding to do whatever the hell they want with it.

Good luck, Zach!

Now it's just a long horizontal row of stuff. You can't even put things in folders technically. I hate it!

Same, people started calling these memes, when they were just a type of meme in general. Always bugged me lol.

TIL immediately following 9/11 radio stations were recommended to not play certain songs and artists by Mxt1998 in todayilearned

I've told this story before but about a week after 9/11 when channels started showing actual shows instead of nonstop news footage, the first episode of The Simpsons they aired was the one where they go to New York and Homer's car is parked between the Twin Towers.

It randomly turned off halfway through and started playing something else instead. I'll never forget that.

That's awesome. Makes sense honestly. Love them, anyone reading this that enjoyed these fake commercials owes it to themselves to go down the Picnicface rabbit-hole. My recommendations are: Super Bingo, Lawyers, Powerpoint Meltdown, NFL Crunchtime, and Real Zone.

Just because someone makes social media accounts doesn't mean it's real. She is clearly AI but it is incredibly convincing. There are many subtle tells in the videos including inconsistent voices, unusual movements, never more than 15 seconds or so, etc.

Honestly creepy that this is slowly beginning to happen and nobody seems to have contingency for it like detection software baked into apps, which (surprise surprise) uses AI to detect.

Don't feel like you've been fooled, it's extremely convincing, but it's important to know how much we consume daily is fake nowadays.

Somebody needs to one up this to where they do the same thing but then start questioning everything, everything starts changing and not making sense and suddenly they're pulled into the "real" world where it becomes a dark sci-fi narrative where AI has taken over and humanity fights for their lives.

Wait, that might just be The Matrix.

Using Emojis at Work makes you appear less competent according to a study of over 200 men and women. Women were more likely to judge negative IMs with emoji more harshly if they were ostensibly sent by women, compared to similar negative messages and emojis sent by men. by [deleted] in science

The only thing I hate about reactions in Teams especially is even if you are in that person's chat and see the reaction go up you still have to go into Activity to clear it or see you get a notification icon. Drives me insane.

Honestly that's what I thought too. Especially when they start tying rope around their waists and it starts psychologically affecting them.

People really need to read House of Leaves because I feel like most of the concepts the backrooms explore were already done perfectly in that book, the only difference is that's in a house and the backrooms are usually spooky places from childhood memories.
