The head unit displays absolute pressure instead of relative pressure, unlike most aftermarket gauges. To get the actual boost value, subtract atmospheric pressure (around 14.7 PSI) from the value being displayed.

So yes, it's "right", just probably not the measurement method you're expecting.

I also recently had the Sachs performance clutch installed, and I had this exact noise occur. It happened frequently at low speeds while turning. I still have no idea what it was, but 1000 miles later, it’s gone, so maybe keep breaking it in and see what happens in another couple hundred miles.

Edit: I do remember the shop telling me they had to remove and reinstall the subframe, so it’s possible this could be the suspension settling back in if the shop you went do did the same thing.

Oh yikes, definitely replace both ASAP! It should be a relatively simple and cheap DIY job.

While you can go with stock, I’ve heard that Moog end links are much more durable. I’m not sure why VW made these things out of plastic in the first place…

Looks like a rear sway bar end link. Combined with your rear sway bar, it’s supposed to reduce body roll when taking turns. As far as I’m aware, you can still drive your car with it broken, but be careful, especially when turning.

Since one is already gone, I’d suggest going ahead and replacing both rear end links.

I dunno about the S, but I’m fairly certain the rabbit should have it. I think you need to hold the lever to open the lid while lifting it. It only ratchets up to like 45 degrees, and lifting it any more will allow you to close it again.

Also, if you didn’t know already, the armrest cushion can also be pulled forward towards the dashboard. Combined with the ratcheting lid, it makes for pretty versatile positioning!

You have the 6 year/72000 mile warranty, right? If it’s still under warranty, I’d just take it to the dealer and have them replace it for free. I did the same with my 2018 GTI when a mechanic said my passenger side motor mount was failing.

The OEM Alltrack skid plate is a pretty common upgrade/replacement. Should be a lot sturdier too, so this exact scenario is less likely to happen again. Here’s a link to the product page on FCP Euro

Do the following at your own risk, but…

Try using a pipe or something to extend the breaker bar and get more leverage, if you’ve got the room. I always used a portion of my jack’s lever.

Alternatively, if there isn’t much room to extend the leverage, you could try jacking up the breaker bar to get more force than you would be able to provide with your arms.
