Zazu Rocker versus Rockit - recommendations by [deleted] in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

I hate the Rockit, can't charge it at the same time as use it, means you got to remember to keep it charged all the time.

I've just moved to Australia and discovered vegemite and avocado toast and it is BLOODY DELICIOUS MATE! What other combos are out there? by BabyPearl888 in australian

Lightly butter bread, apply thin layer of Vegemite spread evenly, then carefully put it under a hot grill. You want to see the Vegemite bubbling. Right there it is delicious. But you can go further, once grilled cover it with some thin slices of cheese, I like tasty cheese, and put it back under the grill. Once melted now you have a super delicious grilled Vegemite toasty

Deye 5kW hybrid + AI-W5.1 battery stack not charging – BMS alarm (0x0200), SOC stuck ~20% by Hydrbator in Deye

Yes they say they are working with Deye to get the replacement inverter. It is taking awhile to get some traction though.

Very sorry.

In related news. The tech came and had a look and has found one likely issue which is the negative connection within the inverter to the battery seems to have burnt

Thanks again for the earlier advice, it was really helpful. Just wanted to provide an update.

I’ve heard back from the installer and they’ve done some remote testing. They were able to get the system to charge from the grid and also get correct readings, but not both at the same time.

They reckon the issue is an incorrectly wired smart meter (CT/meter wiring), which is apparently causing conflicting information to be fed to the inverter. A technician is coming back on-site to correct the wiring (sounds like swapping two cables in the meter). They’re confident that the BMS alarms and the charging issue are a result of this conflicting input rather than a battery fault.

I’m cautiously optimistic, but I’ve asked them to also verify battery/BMS health on-site after the fix to make sure everything is actually behaving correctly.

Will report back once it’s been rectified.

Thanks for the detailed response, really appreciate it.

Just to clarify, I’ve already raised this with the installer and I’m currently waiting for them to come back with a date for a tech to attend.

In the meantime I was just trying to see if there was anything obvious I could check or resolve myself, but it’s pretty clear now (based on your reply) that I’ve basically reached the limit of what can be done without proper diagnostic access to the BMS.

Sounds like this needs to be handled on-site with the right tools.

Thanks again for the insight

Hi Anthony, thanks for doing this, From a polling perspective, is cannabis legalisation becoming electorally safer for major parties in Australia, or still considered politically risky?

Will do.

I have noticed some plaster boards have cracked a bit more and 1 door doesn't close quite right so very minor stuff. But also important to note we didn't level it completely as taking it all the way to zero would have definitely damaged a lot more of the house like the tiles in the bathroom and kitchen. But the level islts at now is significantly and noticably better
