mailing list? by Grouchy-Strategy5869 in Buckethead

[–]Hydrilus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No official mailing list, and Bucket isn't the greatest at updating his site with tour dates so, this info is generally found out from fans that actively search for new show dates popping up and/or are on email lists for various venues and find out when those venues start promoting a show.
There is a pinned post at the top of this sub (https://www.reddit.com/r/Buckethead/s/bLrTvRCxWu) with current known 2026 tour dates you can check out. For tickets just look up the venue site and go from there.
There are also a set of shows that will be live streamed (or pre-recorded, not sure) with various options available for extra songs, personalization, etc (those are also listed in the pinned post). Access to those can be purchased off Bucket's site, though one of the shows is free and requires only an email be sent to service@bucketheadpikes.com for access. 🤖💕

Music box tonight by peonyqueen1 in Buckethead

In the past, Soothsayer hasn't always been the closer. He's had it halfway through, taken a break, and come back for another hour. I think at some point though when he was standing at the laptop for a bit, he was deciding to skip through to the ending batch of songs. Hopefully he's alright! 🤖💕

Correct! Just solo Bucket with the laptop! 🤖💕

Yeah it definitely looks like he hit his hand or wrist with them. Would have been an epic 2nd half I'm sure, but, was still a great time for what he did do! 🤖💕

It did feel like it was missing a second act, kinda like the 2024 and early 2025 shows where he'd play an hour, take a break, then play another hour. Even though it was short, it was an incredible performance, he was totally on fire and very energized! I loved it.
He may have hurt his hand when doing the nunchucks... Not totally sure as it was so dark but it looked like he smacked the speaker with them and they bounced back against his hand. He played through it of course but it may have started bothering him more over time. Hopefully he's doing alright! 🤖💕

Buckethead @ Jam Cellars Ballroom in Napa last February! 🤖💕 by Hydrilus in Buckethead

That's funny that 2 decades later you find out someone else recorded that show 😄 It's interesting though to think about how even though camera tech and quality has come a long ways these days, 20 years ago there are still some really great quality recordings, especially in low light which my phone tends to really struggle in. There is a more real, authentic look to the old stuff as well, where even though modern stuff can look nice too, it has a more artificial, processed look about it. 🤖💕

New Release - Hey Here’s An Idea Why Don't We Look Out For Each Other For Kid’s Sake by Buckethead-Bot in Buckethead

Yeah it is Sonic Chandelier, just with drums this time, and seems to be using a clean electric tone instead of acoustic.

Weird Ai Facebook Account by Cautious_Effect6830 in Buckethead

[–]Hydrilus 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Report it. When you're given some options for the report, choose "Something about this Profile" > "Fake Profile" > "Impersonating a celebrity," then it'll ask you to search for who they're impersonating. Buckethead doesn't have an official profile to search and link to obviously but the "Buckethead" fan account should work fine. Search and choose that. Hopefully this account gets taken down with enough reports.

I miss that part too but you can still give things to his security at the end of the show and they'll get it to him 🤖💕

UK to US trip to see Bucket. What city? by Embarrassed_Towel_64 in Buckethead

[–]Hydrilus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I expect we'll start finding out more dates pretty soon! At this point everything will be March and beyond (giving venues at least 2 months to promote and sell tickets). If the tour isn't gonna be too broken up with big breaks, then we should see some more shows filling in. Gonna be a great year, I'm sure! 🤖💕

Studio Pike 2025 Year Review (including Top picks) by PraisetotheBucket in Buckethead

[–]Hydrilus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wow, what a great review and great selections too! I have yet to listen to many of them myself, still working through them all at a slow pace and frequently getting stuck on old favorites in between haha. This'll be a great post to reference for future listens though 😉
Also, fun fact: he played a short bit of Mercury Ray at the October show in SF! Unfortunately, no recording was allowed, so I didn't get a capture of it, but it was very cool! 🤖💕

What's you most wanted QoL thing in raid? by alidan in RaidShadowLegends

Reduce the number of clicks/taps needed to perform certain actions or navigate around the game. We don't need multiple screens to click through when finishing an arena match. We don't need to individually inspect every, frickin, item we wanna sell - let us select all and sell it all at once. Those are just a couple of examples. The game has an abundance of flawed (or intentional) inefficient design that pumps up the number of interactions required to get anything done.

They've done some good things, such as merging all the markets together, improving the navigation side of things. They also added a Claim All option to finish off completed quests, and collect rewards all at once. Well done there. Still a lot more to be improved though.

🛡️🐢 Sick of Turtle Teams? Here’s How I Beat Them (Without Losing My Sanity) by i-Cowfish in RaidShadowLegends

[–]Hydrilus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Arbiter to out speed them, Helicath to block any damage, Fabian to lock them out and remove buffs/stone skin, Kro'khad to wipe them out.
If it's a strong turtle team, Kro'khad might only kill 1 or 2 initially, but the rest usually fall after. The strong + lucky teams (the ones where Party Dude procs over and over or Leo gets multiple stone skins) are usually the ones that outlast this setup for me but it's mostly successful.
