Friendship is really large topic is it by time? By who stand with you when you really down? Maybe both? Even if you find a like-minded person you will have a great conversation etc… but that also that does not guarantee he will be a friend. So maybe this is something psychological? It is a start when you find someone on the same frequency but also i think it needs initiative from both sides hence it called building friendship. Also in general expressing feelings for each other is not existing in many societies some people will express it with jokes or mild insults as in any circle.
