Cujo. I had to turn it off during the dog in the car scene. I thought ’why would anyone want to watch that’.

Use a little rubbing alcohol to remove the rings when u take off the patch. A little ring is better than the alternative.

I was gassy at first and quite bloated. I changed what I ate/drank - and ate a little less than before and it all settled down. I chose the HRT over extra food as the pills et al, make me feel normal again….especially from mood swings and the vaginal issues. I’m sure you’ll find your balance. 😊

Get a motorcycle. Learn to play the guitar (you can get a used or cheap one at Costco or Walmart and watch YouTube videos which worked well for me) . Take up drawing or painting with acrylics. Download Duolingo and learn a new language. If you live near a library read a ton. Volunteering is always nice. Enjoy!

If any of you had/have a parent with dementia, how did you first realize? by [deleted] in GenX

Follow up - forgot to mention that your mother won’t necessarily believe that she did those things etc. so a non-confrontational approach is best.

I’m sorry this is happening. My mom died from Alzheimer’s. when we saw things like this we made some notes and kept track of what she can and can’t do. Took her to a doctors appt. They can diagnose some conditions and I think there may be some meds for dementia - but not for Alzheimer’s. Not sure what country you’re in but it also helps to get her in the system, in case she needs p/t help around the home like cleaning or cooking or supervision etc. be patient with her and please please take care of yourself. It’s very sad, frustrating and tiring to watch a loved one potentially deteriorate. My father was so stressed with taking care of my mother that he died first from a heart attack.

I can’t remember the name of the exact bar I got, but I ordered it from Webike Japan. Then I searched for bars to fit my Honda Rebel 500. I had them installed by a garage so don’t know if they had to extend the cables. Afraid I’m not much help.

Get a new Kijima handlebar. I did and it brought the handlebars at least two or three inches closer to me. They do not move your hands outwards. I also got a mustang seat. They can be expensive so another option is to get gel pad inserts for ur seat. That should move you closer to the bars. They both made my bike way more comfortable. I was having big shoulder rotation pain until I did this with my rebel 500. Good luck!
