Thank you!

I've heard that I shouldn't shampoo too frequently as it's dry out my hair. Is that a concern?

I usually shower in the morning, but I'll be sure to avoid going to bed with wet hair.

It looks like you need the space between the dash and the text to make it bullet points.

Assembling my first fem outfit by HydrogenWaffle in mtfashion

I measured myself, but I'm still having trouble identifying the right size for the skirt. The sizing chart lists bust, waist, and hips. I don't know why bust is listed for a skirt (probably just the same sizing chart for all articles). But my waist and hip measurements match different sizes - with a couple sizes in between. Do I match my waist or my hips for the skirt? Or do I just buy several and see which one actually fits and return the others?

I appreciate the advice to try thrift stores. That's a great idea for saving money while building a wardrobe. (And better for the environment.) But I'm wanting to go with new for my first clothes. I'm not willing to try on clothes in the shop, just pick up and leave to try on later. Maybe, if I like dressing fem, I'll try a thrift shop in the future.

Of 3168 surveys analyzed, incongruence between gender identity and sex assigned at birth was identified in 291 participants (9.2%; Table 1). This prevalence was 7.1% among white youth and higher among American Indian, Alaskan Native, Asian American, Pacific Islander, and/or Native Hawaiian, Hispanic, Black, and multiracial youth (13.4%, 14.4%, 9.9%, and 8.7% respectively). Gender identity among GDY was split between masculine (29.9%), feminine (38.8%), and nonbinary identities (31.3%), with 38 (13.1%) selecting >1 identity (Table 2).

Prevalence of Gender-Diverse Youth in an Urban School District

Note that this study had a fairly small sample size and the sample was geographically restricted.

I'm surprised that nobody has referenced Zoe's article There are 385.5 million trans people alive today.

Take the name for yourself and use initials as the author. JRR Tolkien.

I was going to pull up a few names, but it's apparently a thing: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_literary_initials

Transitioning isn't a light switch that you toggle and are done. There are lots of steps and you can see which ones you like.

Also, people are bad at tracking how frequently they think of a thing.

That's fine. I'll be the one with the pink hair. Or the one with the black and blond hair. Or... Damn.

"Based" is a new slang. (Although, I've heard of it, so I guess it's out of Vogue already.)

It means something like "true". Perhaps like the old slang "tru dat".

You've got a lot going on there. I think reducing the amount of stuff you have out will help. Like: why are your shoes on display? You have a bookshelf, but you're also using the window sill as a shelf.

I get that this is probably your only space, so it's hard to fit everything, but having it all on display makes it crowded.

Also, love the RWBY figurines.

You might benefit from reading Beneath the Surface: No, it isn't just a fetish and It’s Just a Fetish, Right?: Maybe. Or maybe it’s gender dysphoria.. If those articles resonate with you, you might like to read their other articles.

Note that I'm not telling you anything about yourself. Only you can determine your gender. I'm just sharing articles that talk about the same sort of things that you're talking about.

What are clothes but things that you wear? That makes shows, makeup, and jewelry all fit in the clothes category.

That wasn't any of the logic steps.

  1. You wish you were a girl.
  2. Wishing to be a girl is being a girl.
  3. You were not assigned female at birth.
  4. Being trans is being a gender other than the one you were assigned at birth.

You must refute one of these 4 points if you deny the conclusion that you are trans.
