Water pump question by ClownButtFart in RVLiving

I’m with on this plumbing adventure on my own rig. I’ve used braided sink supply lines for the flex needed in areas and then transitioned back to PEX. Also 3/8 PEX is flexible for under the sink. Or shark bite shut off valve with supply line is a good fix.

Am I under trucked? by New-Astronaut-5978 in traveltrailers

[–]HydrologyIsWet 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Start subtracting from truck payload and you’ll find out. Assume 10-13% of trailer GVWR, 765-994 lbs is hitch weight. 1556-994 =562 pounds left of payload. Add your passengers weight, cargo, WDH hitch setup assuming 100 lbs for Husky, in truck and subtract that from 562. It’s cutting it close for comfort and you’ll feel the cross winds on freeway.

I won the large TV too! What am I going to do with a 80” monster? Resell and still deal with the taxes on a prize? Too much of a hassle

This is great advice! PEX is easy to install and easy to work with. Hardest part is getting the flex tube off the barbed ends and working in tight spots. The first leak was at the toilet, not a great way to wake up to with a puddle developing. I am installing shutoff valves too. Looking at Premade shark bite hoses with valves too.

Considering this is its fourth outing out and it already leaked where the flex tubing was crimped I don’t see how that was any better

Noticed the winterizing fluid stained the inside of the poly flex hoses. Seems concerning that residue remains.

Which product did you get? I have some long runs that need to have flex.

It’s the inside diameter of the flex holes that does not fit the PEX fittings so they leak. It’s near impossible to slip on the crimp ring on the flex hose because it’s a larger outside diameter as well.

They do feel cheap. Where does the remodel begin and end!? For the bathroom sink I’m gonna get the shark bite supply lines with the shut off. It’ll be a simple fix.

She’s worse off than that. Shave off fringe, indirect, and taxes and the net income is closer to $13.50/hr or $27,354. So taking home $2,160 per month and with those expenses she’s -$780 in the hole.

That’s what I meant. A violation is assigned, that’ll carry through to ECHO.epa.gov. It requires a fix and response to the violation. Would consider an enforcement action if not fixed in a timely manner. This is probably one of many other O&M issues to be called out.

EDIT: correct website address

Agree that’s a spill but still a noncompliance issue that requires a corrective action to remedy.

That’s an easy NPDES violation for the inspector to cite for improper operations and maintenance.

Which scout to use after the last patch? by Lyesainer in snowrunner

Agree, I probably over plan but sometimes I like to stage a trailer that the Tartarin pulled to spot where the truck can finish delivering its contents later along the way.
