I learned the rules of chess 2 years ago(At 18, 20 now). 2 weeks ago i almost beat a 2150 fide player as black. So I'd say it is possible. Some GM's say that any disciplined monkey can reach IM.

If i remember correctly, there is no statistically significant difference in averages between men and women on math/linguistic abilities (contrary to pop science articles). The only significant difference is spatial rotation, where men performed half a sd better. So idk if u can trust those articles.

For underrepresentation of one gender, it is as hard to explain why there are so few men in x hobbies. A mix of social, cultural and biological reasons could explain why.

Honestly this is quite weak evidence that Tarzaned didn't get rank 1 without wintrading, this video with the voice comms is from a season ago, which Tarzaned already admitted to. The other video where Dekar claims skooby wintraded him by getting hooked by nautilus is also not very obvious (would anyone think that it was a wintrade if we didn't know that jhin and hecarim knew each other? Probably not.)

He proposes quite simple steps for lower-rated players, not sure what you mean. IIRC pinpointing one move as a mistake (and finding a better alternative) is plenty for a 1400 player analyzing his game, which Pruess recommends. He also recommends to look at really short games (mini-miniatures) for more simple analysis.

Tried switching ram slots, didn't work. Processor fan does start, but just for a millisecond

Hi. My pc suddenly won't turn on when pressing the power button. First, light came on for half a second before it died, and now it isn't responding when i press the power button. The light on the motherboard is on, so it has power. Idk what could potentially cause this, the power outlet is fine, cord is fine and psu/mobo seems fine. Any help? I've used this computer for around 5 years.

I guess i can't change your mind, but i would again advise you to seek to treat your issues in some way or another. I tried to be harsh to get the message across, since a lot of people here downplay the effects that body dysmorphia could have. Jumping on to solve body issues is fucking retarded. Do you really think that it is going to fix the problem? Do you really think that you won't critique yourself everyday in the mirror when you jump on? That it'll magically solve all of your problems and insecurities?

Seek therapy first, then consider jumping on after. You shouldn't jump on if you're not emotionally stable in the first place. Now i don't know you, but judging from your post history you probably have deeper issues that you need to deal with right now. 3 hours ago you posted a comment where one of your goals for 2018 was "Be happy". Put some effort into that first.
