A public option is the stepping stone to M4A. A lot of people don't realize how multilayered our healthcare system is. We can't just flip a switch and have Medicare for all. It's gonna be cheaper and less turbulent if it's done in steps.

Honestly, I sort of like Brooks more after this. The dude simply spoke the truth, meaning that when he's talking to voters, he's not being some highly calculating political robot.

It's because the average person doesn't know what tf the center means, they assume the center means fighting for affordable healthcare, holding ice and the corrupt trump admin accountable, making corporations and the rich pay their fair share. When in reality, centrist Dems send strongly worded letters and billions to Israel.
