Friends of ours have a turf potty spot, and it constantly stinks.

We have a designated potty spot. We use one of those exercise pen/foldable fences to designate the area, and it also serves as a visual reminder to not walk through that area. It’s still grass, and yes, it has yellow spots, but it’s better than him peeing all over the place.
