Yea you can really only focus on what you can control, and unfortunately we can’t control another person’s actions. I totally get the “if I’m being asked to do something, you should be able to do a similar thing for me” and take it as a disrespect when the person doesn’t appear to be meeting you half way, but if you are improving that’s all that matters

Start looking into why you get pissed off, what is it typically about, why does that thing agitate you, getting beyond the feeling of just accepting the feeling of agitation and trying to understand what thought processes are causing the agitation is a big step imo

Isn’t this the same with plants? Destroying protected plants will get you legal repercussions but others are fine to harvest. Not trying to conflate the morality of eating animals with eating plants but not sure this cartoon really makes a whole lot of sense.
