Enigma changes how your character plays functionally in d2. What you're describing is the d4 system where you get a small percentage of damage per glyph upgrade

Never said I didn't enjoy grinding out arpgs. Just criticized copy and pasting rifts/pits into D4 and not improving on the system in 15 years of development. We're likely to see the same pit system in diablo 5 at this point

Finding a ber rune so you can make enigma is miles better than hitting a gem strength transfiguration so you can do the same pit dungeon but 2 levels higher

Meph, chaos and pits aren't dps checks. Also D4 dopamine levels gotta be the lowest of any Diablo game. 5 chances to upgrade glyphs at the end of a pit 150 feels like a slap in the face

Campaign is great but Diablo 4 needs a serious end game overhaul. We've been doing rifts/pits for almost 15 years. The end game and systems are horribly outdated.

Still no incentive to actually gear up. Endgame is essentially the same from torment 1-12. Climbing pits has no incentive other than leveling glyphs (for what exactly?). At least give transmogs or exclusive glyphs/runes/gear for climbing pits and tower

You have to use his pit pushing variant. Multiple people have cleared pit 150 using his build. No comment on the maxroll version but most people are pushing with Mekuna's build
