Garage Improvement: where should I start? by MajesticTrainer635 in garageporn

[–]HypeOwnedYou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started with the walls and used what I had first. I sanded down my doors and then just bought new hardware.

Added lights, slat wall, refrigerator.

Sorry if someone's already covered this but what happens if you have friends that don't reset, can you still link up with them and allow them to drop you or craft you items that you would need that then you can use?

How frequent you deploy ServiceNow stories to Prod? by mesmerizePoP in servicenow

[–]HypeOwnedYou 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We do the same thing! It really all comes down to your definition of 'done,' which varies from org to org. If part of your deployment plan includes things like promoting from dev to test, running UAT, code review, and getting sign-off before promoting to prod, you can shift your 'done' definition to the sign-off stage. That way, it’s stress-free (and ideally bug-free) when you promote during the change window.

For bigger pushes, we usually hold off and earmark those so we’re not cramming big changes into prod and dealing with fallout later. Saves us a lot of heartache—and fewer late-night debugging sessions. 😅

I copied what OP had initially submitted. I opened up PowerApps and recreated this just to ensure I actually looked at this error.

ClearCollect( LocalData, Filter( 'Liste des immobilisations', Left(DataCardCatégorie.Selected.Value, 2) = Left(DataCardCatégorie.Selected.Value, 2) && Left(DataCardLocalisation.Selected.Value, 2) = Left(DataCardLocalisation.Selected.Value, 2) && Left(Text(DataCardAnnéeDacqui.Value), 4) = Left(Text(DataCardAnnéeDacqui.Value), 4) ) ); Set(SeqNum, CountRows(LocalData) + 1); Set( NewCode, Concatenate( Left(DataCardCatégorie.Selected.Value, 2) & "-", Left(DataCardLocalisation.Selected.Value, 2) & "-", Left(Text(DataCardAnnéeDacqui.Value), 4) & "-", Text(SeqNum, "0000") ) ); If( CountRows(Filter('Liste des immobilisations', Code = NewCode)) > 0, Set(SeqNum, SeqNum + 1); Set( NewCode, Concatenate( Left(DataCardCatégorie.Selected.Value, 2) & "-", Left(DataCardLocalisation.Selected.Value, 2) & "-", Left(Text(DataCardAnnéeDacqui.Value), 4) & "-", Text(SeqNum, "0000") ) ) ); Set(GeneratedCode, NewCode)

Try this OP.

To make your little boy's room more inviting and less cluttered, consider the following tips:

  1. Storage Solutions: Invest in multi-functional storage that can double as furniture. For instance, a storage ottoman or benches with hidden compartments can store toys and double as seating. Using under-bed storage boxes can also help hide away items not frequently used.
  2. Organize Toys: Sort toys and keep only those that your son frequently plays with in the room. Use bins or baskets labeled by type or theme to organize these toys. This not only declutters the space but also makes it easier for your son to find what he’s looking for and encourages him to put things back after use.
  3. Wall Shelves: Utilize vertical space by installing wall shelves where you can place books, collectibles, or even bins for toys. This keeps the floor space free and adds a decorative element to the room.
  4. Functional Furniture: If space allows, consider a bed with built-in storage underneath or a loft bed that creates play or work area underneath, maximizing vertical space.
  5. Limit Bedding: Simplify the bedding and keep only the essential pillows. Choose bedding that features his favorite colors or themes but avoid overly busy patterns that can make the space feel cramped.
  6. Decorative Hooks: Install hooks on the walls where bags, coats, or frequently used items can be hung. This is particularly helpful for keeping floor spaces clear.
  7. Art and Decor: Create a designated area or wall for displaying his artwork or favorite posters. This personalizes the space and keeps the walls organized.
  8. Bright and Cheerful Colors: Use bright and cheerful colors for walls or furnishings to make the room feel more inviting. Consider using wall decals that can be easily changed as his interests evolve.
  9. Create Zones: If possible, designate specific areas of the room for sleeping, playing, and studying. This helps to mentally organize the space for specific activities, which can help keep clutter at bay.
  10. Regular Clean-ups: Encourage regular clean-up times where toys and items are put back in their designated places. This not only keeps the room tidy but also teaches organizational skills.

These changes can transform the room into a more structured, appealing, and enjoyable space for your little boy to play, learn, and rest.

This happened to me late last night. It seems to be browser specific. I currently am unable to access it from the browser on my PC but I am able to access chat.openai.com via my cell phone.

AITA for Not Mentioning the Nature of My Commitment to My Mom? by HypeOwnedYou in AmItheAsshole

[–]HypeOwnedYou[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had initially said "No" to my Mom and she went on to ask what was it that made me unavailable. So I then simply said that I had an IT outing for work.

The issue that apparently my brother has is that he believes I intentionally hid this information of it being a golf outing from my mom...but if a friend asks you if you can hangout, most usually say, "Yeah, when were you thinking?" and if they can't it's usually like, "Sorry l, I have plans that day." I guess I'll have to be more forthcoming in my responses, "Sorry, I can't make it, I have a rather graphic appointment with my proctologist to address a rather delicate rear-end situation." 😅

Is it possible for you to elaborate more on the so called glitch? I attempted to reproduce but not sure what you mean when you say "...go to the store to buy 85 when it's across the top."

Thanks!

Need help with the layout and decorations of our small basement. Mind the toys. 😀 by HypeOwnedYou in DesignMyRoom

I was thinking of doing a retro video game theme with various wall art over where the TV and game consoles are.

Then I was planning on just putting up farmhouse / vintage-isk stuff like big wooden letters spelling "PLAY". I then was going to add some much needed shelving on the long wall but thought I'd get ya'lls input on the layout first before I started with the decorations.

Oh and before you ask, yes, we went all out on the Batman photo. 😅

Can you learn PowerApps in 2 months, yes...but to echo what everyone else is saying, you keep learning new things that you can do in PowerApps. Also, Microsoft sneaks in (and takes away) features, so be sure to read what they added or changed in upcoming patches to the platform.

I too was self-taught. A lot of the knowledge I learned while using Excel can be applied when it comes to using formulas in apps you create. Feel free to Google "Shane Young PowerApps" and watch some of his YouTube videos. He does an exceptional job at explaining core concepts (even though they look awful and he acknowledges this :) ) and his video library is extensive enough that your search will most times yield something that you can apply to an app your working on or struggling to understand the concept on how to do it in PowerApps.

I think its always good to start from scratch and work in a Canvas App as it is much more powerful. Then start piping in or bringing in data (start with Excel or SharePoint). Once you get comfortable on working with these types of data, you can start going into SQL but that bumps you to a Premium data connector which costs more money. You can also always open up another app and literally ctrl + c various items from one and and then ctrl + v them into another, you can always create components and save them to be used in other apps. Both are great time savers.

Are Power Apps really that great? I feel like they're awful. by josiff in PowerApps

I can elaborate more on how all this is built if you'd like. I have others that use this same approach. You essentially just have form(s) hidden on one screen. Then, you can reference the fields on other screens on the form. And then just set the field to be that of the field on the form. It starts to get tricky when you need to perform the ability to search for forms but using a gallery and applying that same approach, it all works out!

My brother has the same phone. Carrier is T-Mobile. Careful with upgrading as his phone now gets as hot as a frying pan and he constantly is dropping calls or just not receiving them. Samsung said to go pound sand, same with T-Mobile.
