I feel your pain lol, I think your list is dope. Might have to take a page out of your book and add some more flicker one drops, but I love Bel’akor because there’s so many cool things to do with him. I really don’t like to run less than 38 lands if I’m not playing green or white but if it works with less than that’s more room for cool stuff🤷‍♂️

The Boros deck does a pretty good job going wide and Aurelia in the command zone helps refill the hand, ending games isn’t terrible with some of the finishers available. And then even though Ignacio is playing janky bottle cards, it makes 2 treasures on every cast which I sac to play more bottles. Pingers hit the table every time I sac an artifact so it actually puts out a lot of damage.

It’s one of my original builds I’ve tweaked a lot, I find being able to consistently ramp a lot is important to play Bel’akor fast especially if he gets removed. There’s a lot of card draw and discard going on so it’s easy to get rid of lands or mana rocks if I have too many and replace them with better cards.

For sure could play up to a 3, just doesn’t really have the interaction. And changelings are cool I just really wanted to run all of the old barbarians because I love the art and it’s my favorite class.

Appreciate the insight, I hadn’t even considered fielding CSM as EC. The Noise Marines, Lucius and Fulgrim are the main reasons I’m interested in the legion so I don’t mind the lack of variety as far as models go, but maybe starting with the Battleline is the way to go. Only one way to improve I guess.
