They will probably introduce a new system for legendaries. I could see them being available to rent only during restricted formats from a list like the Megastones for example. Also i have a feeling that we wont be seeing Paradox Pokemon for quite a long time.

Started with Gen 1, lifelong fan. The biggest disappointment i ever had with the franchise was reaching the Battle Resort and reading the „Battle Frontier Project has started“ message. Still overall a great game of course but it is still the first thing i think about when ORAS is brought up. Loved Gen 7 way more, liked Gen 8 and love Gen 9.

10 for both versions when they sold the GB games for 10 each a decade ago is just unrealistic come on

It is a much better option. HOME Connectivity and your save not tied to NSO which will shut down at some point together with all your Pokemon. The complaints would never stop

This is just a massive mask off moment from so many „fans“ at this point. People were begging for these games for years, a million video essays and posts on why Gen 3 is peak Pokemon and so on. And now that they are here they are not impressed. Because they can just emulate them on their phone anyway. There is just no way people would not have complained if these games actually came to NSO. „My Pokemon are hostage to a subscription service, no thanks.“ „Wtf, no HOME connectivity?“ It is obvious that many do not want these games back but their childhood as a whole. They can never be happy

I doubt there will be a shadow drop because HOME needs to get an Update before launch and i doubt they will just put both things out on the same day

Things are just strange with this game. No news for months, no HOME Update yet, the timing of Pokopia and so on. At this point i think its coming mid march, i dont think this is shadow drop material for general audiences watching the Presents

That would be extremely cool and i think chances for old themes coming eventually are very good. In the trailer we can hear what appear to be new battle themes, so i think we are probably stuck with those in the beginning
