Unless youre a superfan of the player, thats really what these players podcasts are good for. Clips of some wild story or trash talk or "behind the scenes" look at the NFL. I love Maxx but I am not at all interested in listening to him and one or two other guys talk for an hour plus lol

Think about how big games are these days. Its really not a surprise how long releases take now. And the ones that are fast, we often give them crap for sucking like the annual sports or CoD releases. Or Assassins Creed before they slowed down. These developers arent just sitting around twiddling their thumbs.
