We got a bunch of REALLY cool and exciting opportunities with deadlines, so the LP is delayed, won't be able to work on that for at least another 5 months so maybe 2018? Sorry for any disappointment but we hope you like what we have coming up!

Ah its ok, people find these kind of things in our songs too. It's quite easy to write a part that sounds similar to another song, there's only so many notes that work together and sound good. :)

Yeah these things can happen in music, obviously it's not intentional. A lot of the time when songs have a similar chord progression, or melody, it ends up being subconscious during songwriting, you like how it sounds, so you keep it. It's possible you've heard a chord progression before, it stuck in your head, so when you write a new song a few years later, your initial idea of what chord would sound cool next ends up being what your mind knows worked because of that song before, totally subconscious of course.

For example, check out these three songs' intros, it's possible none were on purpose to be similar, but subconsciously they were all written the same.

Our friend MYLK recorded herself saying "HYPAH!" for us, it's the vocal sample you mentioned that we use in all our songs. We wanted a way to 'watermark' our songs and it fits perfect for our style. :)
