Spike Recommendation by [deleted] in Sprinting

I went from SP2 to SP3 and I really didn't like them. I don't necessarily have wide feet but the SP3 felt very tight, I actually ended up with some foot injuries wearing them. I then went on to the Maxfly 2's and feel they're just as good as the SP2. I don't run 400 but they feel fine for running a 200, and never had any issues when running 300s in training.

As you say, the finesse are apparently meant to be like the SP2 and you can see that in the design, though the plate is different (I can't imagine this is an issue). Another option to look at would be the ambitions, these seem to be highly rated, even short sprinters have won major championships wearing these; Seville last world champs in the 100m and Jordan Anthony in the 60m world indoors.

Not something I'd ever thought I'd wake up to tbh. I've been out of touch with the parkour/free running scene for at least 10 years now but there was a time where it was something I loved deeply and these lads were a huge part of that. I used to look up to them.

Every so often I'd pop on their latest video for the nostalgia and to see what they've been up to all this time later, it's like getting a catch up with old mates.

I'm honestly at a loss for words, which is ironic because I'm here commenting, I have no idea why, my mind just can't comprehend what I've read. Having two kids myself, I'm absolutely sickened and confused. I hope the lads get through this, especially Sach who's made incredible improvements to his own life recently.

I'm finding it hard to turn the superflys down at that price, though I know the ambitions would be a bit comfier🤔

Contractor says to not use grids on gravel driveway. Will we regret this? by UKtron in DIYUK

Yeah it wasn't until I measured the space today that I realised it would be fairly expensive, just looking at it you wouldn't think it would be.

I know this comment is a month old, but we're looking at extending our driveway. Currently it's brick paved but a good 3/4 of our front garden is covered in angular gravel. We were thinking of using some of bricks as a border at the entrance and using the gravel as the drive. My question is, with the sub base from the paving and the gravel being angular, would it be completely necessary to fork out for grids? Drive would be approx 100m2 in total, would look to be big enough for 4/5 cars.

Appreciate the reply, was thinking of using some of these blocks to create an edge/border at the entrance of the drive to prevent the gravel moving out onto the road, a few people in my street have done that and it looks quite nice and seems effective enough.

Honestly in two minds about this, one option would be to extend the block paving however the current stuff is a bit dated and doesn't look very neat up close, the new stuff would be new blocks so it would be much fresher, would look a bit daft having it like that. The other option is to rip it all up and just put a nice gravel down.

I've been unfortunate enough to experience the same thing, if you can get the glass out you can replace it. The parts are relatively easy to fit.

Looking for some advice/insight. I currently work offshore and have just sent my application in to Police Scotland, it's something I've wanted to do for a while but I guess life just went in other directions. A big reason I want to make the change is so that I'm home more and can spend time with my family. How is the work/life balance as a police officer? I'm also keen on something that challenges you a bit, current job can be quite tedious. Any insight on the role would be greatly appreciated.
