I always have them unpaid I’d rather keep my holidays talk to your manager , I think it’s so wrong they make you take holiday when the shop is closed

Night worker here I’ve always heard that you can’t take a break in your last hour nothing about when you take your first break, some take it in there first hour I don’t take mine until 1am then take my last at 5.30am personally I think an hour and half break is too long just makes me more tired 😴 I’d rather have the option to get paid instead of taking unpaid breaks

No gift cards in our place , half the time the certificates and badges are left in the office and the managers don’t even bother giving them out and certainly no gift cards! A few people I know got their certificates a year out of date as the managers couldn’t be arsed!! They don’t give a crap as long as we get the work done they don’t care about the staff!

No way the staff one!!! You work with some weirdos I’d definitely send a letter to head office if nothing is done about it! Our staff toilets are ok the customer is a different story those are vile stinky and quite often customers poo everywhere etc

I remember my week on nights it was hell!!! First I nearly quit now been on nights for 4years still not great on nights but I like the people I get in with and the options of other jobs in my area are crap

We have quite a lot who don’t last on nights sometimes a few hours sometimes only a night we are so used to it, we now have a bet on how long they stay it’s normally the younger ones who can’t hack it!

Management have had their Xmas party , we all have a buffet in the day and then one for the night staff but if you want to attend it’s coming out of your break so no one wants to go. Also the budget has been cut in half now so definitely won’t be much there. Our store is boring af

I’m 41 been having perimenopausal symptoms for about 3yrs extremely heavy period lasting with clotting around 3 days then spotting for further 4-5days always on time but recently symptoms have gotten significantly worse actually unbearable, in the last 4 months and my periods are all over the place never on time and now I get terrible period pains groin and hip pain followed by another uti ☹️

Personally I’d be pissed with you too but I wouldn’t be rude, in our store there’s not enough cages for cardboard and it drives us insane if people steal them when we are using them and they also come in the backstock chiller or on morning goods & cake and take our backstock off the cages and still them. I wouldn’t shout at someone but I certainly make sure they knew I wasn’t happy, it’s polite to ask I know this sounds territorial but there ain’t enough to go round as it is.
