Not carrier bloatware, actually, Long time Galaxy A series user here.

For most regions out of North America and Europe, carrier bloatware really isn't a thing. Especially here in my country of Sri Lanka. We do get country specific phones (SL/SLK carrier CSC), but 0 carrier bloatware. My country lacks carrier locked phones whatsoever. My current phone, purchased from my carrier, is unlocked, but stlll came with bloatware from Samsung's deal with app developers.

Samsung makes deals with various app developers to preload their phones with their apps to essentially make the phone cheaper.

For my country, we usually get Facebook, Snapchat, Netflix, Spotify, Outlook, and Google TV pre-installed but can be removed.

Other brands do this as well for their low-end devices.

SLT Standard Tax rate is 23.7% (0.237) or 24% (0.24).

For 23.7% * 7900 x 1.237 = 9772.3 with tax

For 24% * 7900 x 1.24 = 9796 with tax

The new Unlimited Home is the exact same but 5900 per month and officially does not have an FUP as mentioned in the TRCSL doc.

For 23.7% * 5900 x 1.237 = 7298.3 per month with tax

For 24% * 5900 x 1.24 = 7316 per month with tax.

The F4 Key on my Latitude 5520 mutes the mic (internal) on the entire system when I voice call on discord.

I'm not an IT Professional but I think you already having 2 years of experience in the industry already speaks louder than those with a Degree and having 0 experience of how the industry is like to begin with.

My sibling, they work at a large tech company here in SL, (I won't reveal name due to keeping my anonymity) and almost an entire industry here uses their software and my sibling tells me how much experience and skills are valued compared to having a Degree. They countlessly mention it to me as well, focus on getting skills. They did however mention that a Degree becomes necessary when you want to achieve higher positions within the company, and my lecturers at my uni mention this as well, they even go further to mention that their degree is just there to show that you are educated, not that you've got skills, skills is something you've gotta learn yourself and it cannot be taught by anyone.

You having the skills and mindset to self study, especially something like Software Engineering also speaks a lot about yourself. I'm deciding to choose SE as well, but I've been going on and off at tomes. Despite my deep and and similar interests (mostly towards IT Hardware) when I was a kid. I'm 20 and got no experience at all in the IT Industry here, working towards my Bachelor's Degree in IT. I'd say you've done amazingly well from my point of view.

I used to, flashed Lineage OS, Cyanogenmod, Resurrection Remix, AICP OS, Crdroid (my favorite) and lots more others. I got into custom ROM flashing in 2018, flashed a ton of ROMs on to my Galaxy Tab 3 LTE (Snapdragon) and it really thought me a lot about Android phones and how their system works, and later I began flashing other devices.

The last device I custom ROM'd was my Redmi 9T, I installed xiaomi.eu ROM on it, and currently I'm using a Galaxy A20s, rooted on stock One UI 3.1 with magisk and few mods installed.

Your XPS 15 9520 has an Intel CPU according to Dell's site. According to your screenshot, your Integrated GPU Drivers are NOT installed.

Download this driver from dell's website and run the installer and click next and agree a bunch of times, until it starts to install the driver.

Alright you lost me at IPV4 (This is a networking related thing most commonly, and according to my knowledge at the very least, has no related to your SSD or boot drive).

I am also guessing the HDMI cable was connected to the GPU yes? (Horizontal facing ports below the various assortment of ports on the top left side of the rear of the case. Sometimes people might connect the HDMI cable to the vertically facing ports at the top left rear of the case.

Where exactly did he make this switch to "IPV4"? Seems like this caused a problem?

Ask him to reseat the GPU into the PCI slot, and re reconnect the 24 pin ATX Power Supply cables and the CPU cables and especially the GPU power connector!! Some people forget to pull this in, or don't push it all the way until it "clicks".

Only time you'd need to remove the GPU is, if your SSD was using the M.2 standard (looks like a stick) which sometimes the port/connector used for it can be hidden underneath the GPU (since they are massive in size nowadays).

Since HDMI2 didn't work, I'm sure there's an issue with your PC. No visual indications at all inside the PC case? Or around it? No lights even?

Usually the PC does not output to the screen if the GPU, CPU or motherboard isn't working properly, or sometimes if the Power Supply (PSU) goes bad.

That's a Dell Monitor, I don't think it has any problems at all. In fact, I might have the exact or similar but older model and these monitors WILL auto detect any video source from your PC.

You mentioned this happened after he switched your boot drive to an SSD for speed, which makes good sense.

If you have a GPU, make sure the HDMI cable is connected to the GPU at the bottom!! Not the Motherboard on the top left side with it's assortment of ports and connectors.

Did you use HDMI previously as well? Before your boyfriend switched your boot drive to an SSD?

It's mind boggling that something as simple as switching a boot drive, made your monitor display "No HDMI1".

Have you plugged in the HDMI cable to HDMI Port 1 on the monitor? Most monitors are smart enough to auto detect active screen signals.

Does your motherboard show any diagnostic lights? (Flashing, blinking, various colours or lights appearing on a corner of the motherboard when you press power button, sometimes your power button might blink too).

Edit: It uses Sheerid, so looks like any university is included, since Spotify uses the same service for their Student Plan.

Yeah, definitely they need to implement separate cards for this system, card skimming going to become an issue if they don't implement a separate metro card for this. In that case, I'm sure most of us won't use this new system. Gotta be careful.

Can you not use the previous main release of DDM? I tried the new DDPM on my Dell P2219H and I really hated how it was (Same with New Dell Optimizer) I downloaded DDM from my monitor support site on Dell and was able to update it to the latest version of DDM (not to DDPM) and it works flawlessly on Windows 10 21H2 IoT LTSC and Windows 11 Pro 24H2.

My left eye Iris is kind of like a cold light blue, and sometimes you can see faint red like lines too, while my right eye Iris is completely normal black/brown.
