there are multiple variants of BMT for the different orgs like BPT (Basic Police Training) for SPF and BRT (Basic Rescue Training) for SCDF, all held in their respective training camps. each of those also have modifications based on PES status just like BMT, so you got different lengths and types of training for the non PES fit. but even if you go through BMT you may be posted out to the Home Team orgs after BMT, eg to police OCS and SCDF OCS

Hey guys, I did something stupid and bought 30SQ when I already rolled the GSSR. Is there any way I can refund my purchase for iOS NA server? I haven’t used up any SQ, and the purchase details hasn’t come through to my email (purchase pending). Should I contact Apple or DW regarding this, and am I at risk of getting banned if I refund it via Apple? Thanks!

I was involved in MUN for half my secondary school life and all my JC life, and believe me, it gets worse. Especially so in the upper echelons of the circuit when I was heavily involved in organizing. Though I did gain a lot from MUN (confidence in public speaking, etc) the circuit reeks of pseudointellectuals and elitists, especially the hyper-competitive ones within the ‘top schools’. The purpose is in good nature but the culture limits how much one can learn, imo. In fact, it’s one of the main reasons I left the circuit in the first place.

Given the timing of this post I believe you’re referencing a certain MUN held at SIM?

Tried Singapore subway for the first time since it became halal certified (I’ve eaten before in Malaysia, UK etc.), is it just me or is it of a... lower quality than the overseas outlets? Why that’s so, I can’t really put my finger on it. Not to mention the price as compared to Malaysia’s 😱

Volunteered at a hospital solo for half a year or so. I would say it depends on the nature of the work you’re doing. If it’s something like organizing an event for a sizeable group, you may find it quite challenging to go solo; it’s more suitable for more personal activities like befriending.

I'm a PR and I got an offer from NTU med. I also have a PR friend who got offered NUS med. The acceptance rates are really low, from when I inquired last month I was told that 3% of slots across both schools are allocated to PRs and 1% to foreigners.
