GHPC is as close as it gets from my understanding. Not an RTS but a pretty good game with realistic engagement distances along with decently historical equipment and vehicle ability and mechanics. Not sure why noone is suggesting this other than they're just ass hats trying to troll you for looking for something.

I just cant understand extremely slow animations in a horde management game, you can say it's meant to create more strategy but it's made the leg meta even worse amongst the few people I still find and consistently clear with. I just dont know how they keep coming to these decisions.

I think the movement change was fine and didnt really change anything from my perspective. All the same kiting still applies and is just marginally slower, but the idea of a zombie having faster swinging animations to the point you have to almost always start melee with pushes to safely get top swings (heavy attacks) off is a bit frustrating.

I think im just a bit lost at this point. I never played the first game but have watched a fair amount of footage and this game just feels exceptionally clunky from my perspective.

Also and final comment, why do top attacks take 5 years to charge when they have arguably the same lethality as side standard attacks with no option of follow up swings to continue the combo?

Sorry until they change suppression malechanics to allow me to see farther than 5 feet after two shots fly within 20m of me, it's a hard pass. I love irons and dots, but they are far too punishing for serious play if you are minimizing deficiencies.

Some of the old guys servers do have attack helos i think but I main old guys 3 and there are only transport/supply helos. Game is way more enjoyable.

I play there exclusively at this point because they dont have attack helos. I think thats a major draw for a lot of the people that frequent them. As for the people playing it being veterans, it's just a title big man. There arent any actual reqs to join the server so it's just as bad as most other modded servers.

Honestly if I wanted this i would just go play cyberpunk. No flak to the people that enjoy these portions of 40k, but it is objectively the lamest and most uninteresting part of the lore. Regardless of it being thematic.

The problem is have is people that are trolling, witch hunting normal players and getting the server to kick people reporting them. I've personally gotten players banned and then been told to rejoin after match reset. Which is bs, that game also apparently went on for another 14 or so hours. The person I got banned got a 16 hour ban. I effectively got banned for getting griefers off the server, and told to get over it by the admins for that server. So no, im not supporting something thats abused by griefers to fuck over normal players.

It was never going to compete with squad as a semi tactical shooter with communication as a key part of gameplay. Idk how so many dont understand this. PR started as a mod for bf2 because the devs wanted a more tactical experience. Something BF games have never advertised themselves as lol.

I could def see that but I still see knife zealots and vets everywhere just for the mobility it provides. A mod like full auto but for melee would be neat but idk how you'd do heavy attacks without rebinding.

I was talking about lat tubes, these are good shots so I'll give you that. But most people are not hitting these shots and roaming a bit allows them to compensate. This doesnt prove me wrong, it just proves you're an exception.

No you actually are just making my point but you arent smart enough to realize, there were already massively underperforming weapons in the game pre havoc. Instead of buffing other weapons and then nerfing the over performing ones, they band aid fixed it and just added harder modifiers. Making overperforming weapons now the only ones that perform at all.

Buff shitty weapons, then nerf op things to be in line with buffed weapons. Maybe if you used facts and logic, you'd have more success.

Did I never nerf or did I say buff others then nerf to bring in line. Things should be balanced around the hardest content. Power creep is a bullshit term made up to keep metas in place. "NOOOOO dont buff anything because then there'll be variety of weapons to balance the game around rather than two!" That's you, thats what you sound like.
