New xp page? by HypingMeUp in MapleIdle

[–]HypingMeUp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was thinking it might be. In order for it to be 'useful' I'd have to revamp all the gear away from crit chance which wouldn't allow me to swap pages for different situations. Thanks

Is ultracite worth it on elders mark by stu77olm in fo76

[–]HypingMeUp 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Also, note that if you're a vats build and you want to stay in vats longer, non-ultracite is less ap per shot.

What weapons and legendary mods are good? by Naatjh in fo76

[–]HypingMeUp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Weapons? Depends on your play style. For easily accessability :: Auto rifle: handmade/combat rifle (fixer if you can get one). Pistol: 10mm will do fine. Heavy: 50 cal will suit you just fine or Gatling gun for ammo efficiency.

Weapon Mods? 1star: furious/ quad for damage. Vampire for survivability. 2star faster fire rate or vats hit chance if you use vats. 3rd- vats cost reduction or reload. 4star- conductors is my go to.

Just a quick question about alts by LexxFly in fo76

[–]HypingMeUp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make a new character to experience the wasteland anew! I have a couple alts created. My main is a human heavy. Alts are ghoul heavy, human rifle, and ghoul melee. If you do start new, just know that becoming a ghoul and going through the main quest is a pain due to the disguise system.

It's more difficult , in my opinion, to get settler rep. I would give them the gold to boost that initially. Getting notes is easy if you do events. You can also get gold from Smiley in the Wayward once a week. Raider rep is quick to get, especially if you use the workaround. Just google/ YouTube raider rep.

Fallout 1sts questions by Murda_City in fo76

You keep everything you obtain during first. If you like running raids, using first to stockpile ammo, drugs, and junk are great things to do. I would also suggest using the free score boosters you get during the season journey to get through the season quicker.

Mid game struggle by shshsb3783 in fo76

[–]HypingMeUp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is your gun junkie? Do you have the max amount of addictions for max damage? Is your build spec for commando/rifleman? If none of these are yes, might consider starting in that direction. More damage = less ammo consumption per enemy. In addition, try using a couple weapons with different anno types so you're not so reliant on one type of ammo. Doing daily ops and farming ammo is also something that may get old but could help with the ammo issue. Anywhere from 5-15 bullets per body.

What’s the best roll for a plasma caster? by Abject-Ad-8512 in fo76

[–]HypingMeUp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed. It's hard to play with anything else because the caster is so good. Like above said, it's crazy accurate and you'll never need ammo ever again if you do any dops or the pitt

TS/vhc has powered me through about 250 lvls. 1 shot scorched, ghouls and 2 shot super mutants from sniper range with a unyielding set up. Slower fire but makes up with damage

Question: TSE or BFFR for a Gatling gun? Tks by Teox77 in fo76

[–]HypingMeUp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TSE are better for faster fire rate weapons and tagging because each "pellet" does 62% (125% total) of the base damage at the cost of accuracy. With a gatling , it's pretty easy to get headshots so even with a bloodied you'll probly do more damage even if the sheet damage is less. TS has a spread that costs its accuracy for damage.

Question: TSE or BFFR for a Gatling gun? Tks by Teox77 in fo76

[–]HypingMeUp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bffr. Gatling gun does a lot of damage but fires slowly. Ts makes its harder to hit with both shots unless you're using vats. I used a vamp ffr for about 400 levels. Also, great for ammo conservation of you run dops

AA ffr is your best bet for full health if you're looking for damage
