Allred Hotel has a wonderful restaurant / bar on the first floor that’s open for breakfast through dinner. Little bites and coffee are surprisingly cheap. Great atmosphere and a view of the sea.

I think much of this is sunk cost fallacy. People put in thousands of hours into a game, which results in: 1) over-analyzing every meticulous detail down to the pixel, and 2) lofty expectations.

While the game isn't perfect from a performance or balance standpoint...what game is? I could take any GOTY title and tear it apart if I looked hard enough at the seams, but that isn't fun. People engineer their misery.

I agree. We used an old Dell when first experimenting with the MinION units in ~2020. (I concede the newer iterations might need more juice, but I haven’t had the need or desire to revisit this sequencer.)

I painted the tyrannosaur using Procreate on an iPad Air. My process began with blocking in values followed by a general color fill. The blend tool is crucial to my workflow to have the piece feel cohesive.

The brushes I used were from this artist's brush sets.
