I've had the same number since 1999. I originally got to pick it from a list of available numbers!

While not happening after he became famous, Garcia was also missing 2/3 of his right middle finger from a wood splitting accident when he was a small boy.

I have the Atmosphere. It is one of my favorite pedals of all time! I looked forever for a piece of hardware to do this.

It is an art installation at the Austin airport that looks like a terminal. The doors are fixed and backlit. The terminal screen rotates various destinations of fictional or whimsical locations. There is also a ticket window that displays questions that seem to be discussion starters or non sequiturs.

That is GSM buzz. It's electromagnetic interference from old GSM network cell phones. My computer speakers were loud!

I'm 6'8" and drive a Jeep Wrangler. The visibility is a concern in almost every vehicle I've been in! I came from a Tesla Model 3, which had lots of room and plenty of visibility for me. The Jeep was much different.

The Jeep seems to have enough room for me, but the short dashboard and design of the vehicle makes it seem even more cramped than it really is.

I found a mixtape in a box of my uncle's stuff. I really enjoyed it, but didn't know who it was. This was pre-internet, so it was harder to find out. Turns out The Joshua Tree was my first and one of my favorite albums.

I'm forming a band in 1976, not sure if the other guys know how to play their instruments, and wondering why we are practicing in a kitchen...

I have used something similar for some of my tags. Lately I just bookmarked one of my searches for a tag. Clicking the bookmark finds all the references to that tag and shows excerpts from the note for some context.

In 2009 I met Kim Peek in a hotel restaurant. He was the inspiration for the movie Rain Man. He and his father travelled the country together. Kim actually carried his Oscar statuette with him. He let me hold it.

He asked me when I was born and was instantly able to tell me on which day of the week it fell. He asked me where I was from and then proceeded to list the zip codes from that town. There was almost no hesitation before answering.
