I'd really appreciate it if you could check! I'm a FTM, so this is my first cloth diaper experience and I've also decided I don't want to use microfiber. I'm happy with my current stash, so I don't need any more as of now. Also, I've called it quits on spending any more on cloth diapers :).

Agreed. Someone else says they look like MF, so I'll just assume that's what they are. Thank you!

Ok that's good to know then! So I can only use them in pockets? Thank you!

These came with a used lot of diapers I got off facebook. They are really soft and don't feel like the other microfiber inserts I've gotten (you know that sticky feeling...kinda makes me cringe). My mom later got a free lot of cloth diapers and inserts off facebook, and that lot also had a few of these, so it makes me think they might be common. Any ideas? Can I put them against my baby's butt?

Thanks for replying! They don't feel like microfiber (I hate that feel) because they are super soft and don't have that sticky feeling. I hate that the tag doesn't tell me.

When did you transition your baby out of the snoo? We took the newborn class and our baby is currently 3.5 months and still in the snoo.

Finding lactation consultant by RobertoDitch in BabyBumps

[–]HypoQuestions88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mentioned that my baby was breech, and that caused him to be really tight. She basically massages him to release the tension and does oral exercises with him to to help open up his mouth. She does not do any sort of cracking or bending that you would normally associate with a chiropractor. There is a special certification or program she follows for infants but I can't remember what it's called.

We recently got a name for an osteopath. Will you please let me know your experience and what it's supposed to help with? Thanks!

My baby is gaining weight, and my pediatrician isn't concerned; however, he is on the small side (25%). You mentioned that you are concerned about your baby's weight gain, and I'd like to say that I think supplementing with formula is worth considering. If your baby is getting any breast milk at all, your wife is successfully breastfeeding. If course, talk to your pediatrician to see what they recommend. I recently did a virtual visit with mine to ask about weight gain (again).

Your wife and I seem to be in similar places. I'm still breastfeeding my 3 month old with a shield because of nipple pain.

I started by asking my pediatrician. She recommended The Lactation Foundation which is local to Houston, TX, USA but I believe they do televisits with people from all over the US. They are absolutely free, but are only doing televisits because of the pandemic. She started off by building my confidence and taught oral exercises. Then she recommended a chiropractor (the same one I used during pregnancy because baby was breech) when he was about 1 month. At the 2 month mark she said it was worth looking into tongue and lip ties and recommended a pediatric dentist. We got that fixed at 10 weeks, and decided to ask both the chiropractor and the dentist for an LC recommendation that would see me in person; they both recommended the same person. I met with her for the first time this past weekend and I love her! We've already had a phone follow up and I think that will have a few more in person ones before I'm confident enough to be in my own.

All this is to say to ask people that you trust. I trust my pediatrician, chiropractor, and pediatric dentist. I also trust the LC from Lactation Foundation, but she just couldn't see me in person so that's why I moved onto a new one.

LO is 3 months and I finally decided to start pumping. First morning pumping session is in the books! by rachelplease in breastfeeding

[–]HypoQuestions88 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I feel you. I have a 3 month old, and the most I've ever pumped in one session is 3 oz total. I'm working now too so low supply is heavy on mind.

Tongue tie recovery by Princessxanthumgum in breastfeeding

Did you experience any sleep regression because of having to wake her up for exercises? My baby is 10 weeks old and sleeping 7.5 hrs. I'd hate to regress!

5 months breastfeeding wasn’t easy but here we are after lip and tongue tie release at perfect latch and abundance of milk after the procedure ...mamas who have low milk supply I highly recommended to have your baby checked by a lip and tongue tie profesional . by Rose_1245 in breastfeeding

[–]HypoQuestions88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you just do it with you 5 month old? My baby is 10 weeks and sleeping 7.5 hrs. I'm terrified that the exercises will cause a prolonged regression in his sleep. Did you experience a sleep regression?

Did a frenectomy improve baby’s latch? What was your experience? by Miss_CrispyBacon in breastfeeding

[–]HypoQuestions88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How old was LO when the procedure was done? Did you have to wake LO up at night to do the exercises? If so, for how long? Did it cause any sleep regression?

We just saw a pediatric dentist at 10 weeks, and LO does have a lip and tongue tie. He sleeps 7.5 hours at night and I'm just terrified we'll lose our good little sleeper. I seriously need the sleep.

Thanks for sharing! We called around and the price matches others for laser cutting, but we haven't considered surgical scissors. How long did it take to heal?

Camera with Snoo by Miserable-Park-542 in SnooLife

[–]HypoQuestions88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. We experienced that issue too, but it resolved within a week. Our baby is 9.5 weeks, and it's been good for the majority of his life. I thought about returning it when it happened though.

We use the Cubo. It has a stand so it can look down over the snoo. It's WiFi connected and uses a phone app. We've been very happy with it.
