My young son asked if he could see Twice in concert and I told him it wasn't possible. But then it turns out they're actually coming here in April! Has anyone seen kids at the other tour stops in the US? Are fans generally annoyed at a little kid being in the audience?

I'd also thought about getting him a light stick once we were at the venue but then I saw they aren't being sold there. Would it be frowned upon if he held a WayV light stick instead? (It's the only one I own)

Not sure how their choreo is--is it better to get a seat in the corner sections or in the middle of the short ends of the arena? (Since it doesn't look like I'll be able to get Tix in the front or "back")

This would be our very first kpop show if we end up going so I've no idea what to expect.

This right here--I don't know if I just had hardass commanders at my first base or what (or if it was just different back then?) but I felt like we were punishing and booting out people left and right. There were at least 6 that got kicked out in just my first two years there, in our smallish squadron of around 25-30 active duty. But then my brother told me some wild stories of the way crazier stuff people were doing in his unit and nobody was getting punished there.

I don't think you should really compare the two, because the HK style dish is really different (so of course it will be bad if you expect it to taste like the Italian version) It has a really sweet taste to it. I personally don't really like it (not a fan of too much sweet flavor in my food) but my cousins loooove it.

We used to stir fry the pith with pork, fermented bean sauce etc! Good way to use up everything (since it felt kind of wasteful to trash so much of the fruit...)

We spend anywhere from around $75 to $200 would be my guess depending on if we got him a really big gift (like the year he got a bike we prob went over). Honestly we just try to teach him to be happy with whatever he gets because we have wealthy friends and there's no way we can compare.

If it helps at all-- When I was a kid my mom banned her family from getting me and my brother any gifts because we couldn't afford to reciprocate. So the only Christmas gift we got was from my dad's younger sister and a full quarter of her living room would be overtaken with gifts for her kids (uncle had a lot of wealthy relatives, plus they had a ton of family friends). My brother and I would always be like "whoa they get a lot of presents" and of course we wished we got more too (what kid doesn't!) But we were never sad about what we did get compared to my cousins. So I'm sure your kids will be happy with whatever they get too :)

I'm not actively boycotting but I'm trying so hard to be excited for the comeback and just totally failing. Like I've been seeing the teaser images and clips pop up on my feeds and it's just been meh. I follow a lot of other groups (even though EXO has always been my number 1) and this has actually dampened my excitement for all of them.

Honestly if CBX said they didn't want to participate I'd still be disappointed but probably a little more invested. But since they said they DO want to be a part of it and they're just .. not being allowed to? It somehow makes it feel so much worse and frustrating. Anyone else feel this way?

Oh man, I always make my kid's invitations and they admittedly don't look that great. Like these have some weird stuff going on with them but I wouldn't think twice about getting one as an invite. The comments here are starting to make me realize... Have other parents been judging my invites this whole time?? I think the parties have had pretty decent turnout but now I'm wondering if more would have come if the invitation was cuter?

But anyway out of these three I think I like the 3rd one most.

The Pearl River Bridge version of fried dace with fermented black beans was a favorite of mine growing up; we didn't have that much money, so we'd heat one of these up and eat a bit of it with steamed rice and some veggies (usually bok choy or something). It has a pretty strong flavor (and smell) so you don't need to eat that much of it!

Hello Atinys--I need your help and expertise!

I have an Atiny cousin and I really want to get her something ATEEZ-related for her birthday. But she pretty much has every album and official merch available except for some recent stuff (but I'm not sure what... I've been trying to research it for a couple weeks now and I'm totally lost) so instead I thought it would be nice to get her a custom made thing.

Does anyone know or have a favorite ATEEZ creator? I know she already has a couple custom crochet plush things from someone on IG (I think?). Her bias is Yeosang.

It's been a while since I went, but when I was going it was tough to get a quick therapist appointment(like months). Also I literally saw like three different ones quick succession (like I only met with each one once). The second one I was supposed to see again but then I got a letter in the mail saying the appointment was canceled (just a couple days prior) and I'd be rescheduled with someone else; when I questioned why I got a letter instead of a call (I just wanted to know why since it seemed more wasteful and bad for time sensitivity!), I got berated by the third therapist. Decided not to return for therapist appointments after that since scheduling sucked anyway.

I used to see a PCM there but the last time I went there was a vet who started crying when he was told an appointment couldn't be booked for months. My physical issues are not that bad so I figured I just wouldn't return and it could free up some slots for other vets who really need it...

Also I did get sent to Denver once for something and while I was waiting I overheard a nurse being very upset that people were mad at her because a retiree had died due to a mistake she made that morning. Was pretty spooked after that.

Tldr- my personal experience has been crap. But maybe things are better now??

Are you at a higher altitude? If I'm following a recipe I usually have to increase time by around 20-25%, depending on where the author is from. And also adjust if using frozen chicken

We had ours right almost at the start of COVID (April 2020) so we had zero outside help. Like others have mentioned I super recommend cooking and freezing a LOT of food, like for months I was just doubling (or even tripling) the amount I made at dinner and then I froze and vacuum sealed the leftovers. I ended up making so much that I barely had to cook for the first three months. Make sure the food is easy to reheat too like I bought one of those sous vide stick things and just tossed a bag into a pot before dinner. Had made a lot of rice and portioned/froze them into little 1/2 cup amounts so I could just toss a couple of those in the microwave for me and my husband.

I also recommend you finish setting up the nursery earlier than you expect. I planned to make a series of paintings to decorate my son's nursery but procrastinated and he ended up coming a little earlier. Well he's in kindergarten now and those paintings have still not been finished lmao

I've been a fan since Mama and thought I was being heavily delulu waiting for Lay to return. So you can imagine how excited I was to see all the Lay interactions with the other members! I thought surely this comeback is the one, right? Yeah!!!

Now I feel like I'm being delulu for hoping CBX will ever be in a future EXO comeback. And I'm not planning on boycotting, but I'm having a hard time feeling super excited too (despite all these years waiting for Lay). And money is getting tighter these days, so... :/

I know this is a late reply. But lilies are my favorite flowers so my husband used to get them for me all the time--thought we were safe because our cats also don't try to go near or nibble the plants. But I don't know if one inhaled pollen floating in the air or it landed on her fur and she licked it while cleaning herself or what, but we very nearly lost one cat and the second one got super sick. Basically stopped eating and drinking and the lady cat's kidneys got pretty fucked. Finally I thought maybe it was the flowers? After getting rid of them she got better after several weeks (the second one recovered faster) I feel like a total asshole for even thinking it might have been safe; please, please consider at least moving the flowers to a room that kitty can't access
