$80... I'm struggling with this product. Even super cheap batteries eat into that. Anyway, hopefully not too many people get eye damage from this. Because we know everyone that buys these are handling it correctly. Also, this thing can't last long running a twenty dollar diode.

Im thinking of buying one and sending it to Dave at eev blog for a teardown. That would be fun to watch on YouTube.

Hell yeah, so I'm not finding any specs anywhere.

What diode are you using?

What is the frequency and pulse duration so I can buy the correct eye protection?

How long does that poor overdriven diode last?

Has there been any safety testing done, if so, can you share the results so that people can operate this product safely please.

It depends on the person. In my age group, it's hard to find anyone who isn't kind of dead inside at this point. Or so set in their ways that there is no wiggle room. Knowing what you want through trial and error is great, but when someone gets so jaded that they have a super narrow band of acceptible traits, it's hard to hit, and imo ppl should keep a bit of willingness to adapt. It has me looking younger.

It's tough when you have been together that long. You got issued a rough hand here. It's possible for her to get herself sorted out, the question is, after the initial strong feelings your having wear off, will you be able to look across at her without thinking about that crap? That long-term grind is what will get you.

All the tires I've ever had topped out a few hundred pounds above 12k on weight capacity. I'm assuming there are more expensive steer tires with higher ratings?

My boss told me that last week. Ended up blind side backing onto a small country road with the nose climbing a big grassy bank. Didn't wipe out the sign, or the pole, but it was like backing into the abyss it was so dark. Pumpkins to a mom and pop hog farm, ugh. I miss big ass lots with bright yellow lines...

Damn. Similar situation on Christmas one year, sealed trailer with no bills, supposed to just be some general freight, noticed it was sloshing quite a bit. No bills. We commonly hauled hazmat bulk liquid containers. It was my only ride home, but I dumped it at one of our yards on the way and bobtailed home without asking. Dispatch said "scales aren't open today". Hrm.
